What do you think? It has a light gold even patina tone on the obverse and a small area on the reverse at the 8 oclock position. The picture makes the tone look heavier than it really is. Luster is good (not great) with a cartwheel affect.

I was a little hesitant about it due to his bad pictures but prior to bidding he assured me it was nice and offered a good return policy if I did not like it. I am glad I took the chance and could not be happier. The tone on the reverse is between 7 & 9.

I think you did fine on this coin. The luster still looks fine. Satiny tends to be the rule rather than blazing or PL luster. $2500 will get you a bid bad dog and I haven't seen anyone offering their dogs that cheap. $3000 for a coin that you like is a bargain. Arrows coinage are blue chips. They are some of the first coins to contract in price when the market falls, and the first ones to spread apart when things are going up.

There you have it, the reassuring words from roadrunner.
All kidding aside, it looks like a nice likeable coin!
But now......really........... is the reverse truly bigger than the obverse? I couldn't understand why the reverse looked easier to see for 3 whole minutes!!

What's most important here is that YOU like it. And, I see that wrote that you could not be happier. In that case, I'm very pleased for you. Congrats...

LMAO.... I took about 3 pics of the obverse and reverse, those were the 2 that was not blurry and came out the best.

I bid on a few auctions from Reeded Edge, They never reached reserve. Each time I got an email offer to buy it at the "reserve." They always claimed thier coins were real nice for the grade. I thought they were just shopping for customers.
