Wow. My favorite older set "59". What is wrong with that card to get an 8. That's as good of a 59 Mays that I have ever seen.
WOW!!!
Looks like the lower right corner has a tiny nibble on that beauty. No stray ink, absolutely gorgeous.
A gembryo is the early developmental stage of a perfect card.
Whoa. Now that's a Willie Mays!
Just a beautiful card.
Chris…
The ‘59 Mays deserves an MBA Diamond! Congrats on the pickup…
This is the first coin op trade stimulator non-sport in my collection.
“The New Deal,” circa-1935
Nickel-operated countertop trade stimulator, identified on its accompanying key tag as Pace Manufacturing.
This compact Art Deco machine features three fruit reels, a side gum vendor, and a glass-front jackpot compartment. It's about 9X13" and fully operational.
Machines like this combined candy vending with a chance at a winning combination, although the gum didn’t necessarily keep them clear of gambling laws.
Beautifully restored, with a bright polished metal finish and carefully repainted details, this one also works well. It came with a letter documenting the $600 restoration—a handsome piece of Depression-era coin-op history that I’m excited to add to the collection! From Morphy's AH.
I keep adding recent graded PSA 6's of my fav cards...lol
