what about the toe tap TD catches on the edge of the end zone? all the receiver does is catch and get 2 toes in bounds. no "football move" involved.

the receiver in the Baltimore game caught the ball, had 2 feet in bounds and then had the ball knocked out.

    what am i missing?

In your example, the toe tap guy never lost control of the ball.

But did he make a "football move"?

    McCarthy looking real. good tonight

    Boys will be Boys lol

To be fair, Dallas has a bad defense. Guess what?
The Giants next week. They are bad.
Detroit's up after that. They gave up 41 points today.
McCarthy might look good right up to the last game of the season against the Pack.
    🤔

As long as we don't win too many - gotta get that higher draft pick

I am torn by wanting to see McCarthy start leading the team to victory and a higher draft position.

Well, I did find myself wanting the win last night, so there's that.

    GO JJ, GO VIKINGS!

    You and me both brother!

Jefferson missed a catchable ball in the end zone. It was (no surprise) thrown high, but he should have caught it.

If McCarthy can settle down just a little bit, instead of throwing hard and high, he'll be fine. He's starting to look pretty good.

    Still too inconsistent.

    Playing against crappy defenses helps!!!!

I've never liked the thought of cheering to lose for better picks. I think that's a loser mentality that creates even more losing; especially when winning for a young QB will likely instill more confidence and success heading into next season and you've spent high dollars on a roster like this.

I guess if you have 0 to 3 wins at this point in the season and you've got a rotation of veteran QBs, that may be a different situation.

My bigger issue, regardess of where in the draft they pick is who is the decision maker choosing the picks. That problem is of much greater concern, for me.

I was going to say if the Vikings are going to screw up the draft, I'd rather it not be a high #1 choice.

Track record not great with this management group.

Kwesi & Grigson need to go. Full stop. It was a mistake to extend him before the season. Were they concerned he was going to leave? Made no sense.

Whether it was KOC or KAMs fault for managing the QB situation this year - someone needs to be held accountable. KOC isn't getting fired. KAM has demonstrated abysmal drafting. He's got to go and so does Grigson. I doubt it will happen.

I would not be surprised if the Vikings won out and finished 9-8.

    We should beat the Giants.

Lions defense is bad and they aren't looking like they are going anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if we won.

Final game against the Packers should be interesting. I wouldn't bet on winning, but the game is in Minnesota.

Problem is the 170ish mill guaranteed. They already fired the GM over that contract, the HC and OC will be next before they just eat all that money, but yea he never deserved that contract in the first place

I’ve waited until the after game emotions died down to post.
The Patriots played a good game Sunday but not quite ready to bury the Bills as we saw.
I like Mike Vrabel as a coach. McDaniels and Vrabel have turned the franchise around but Vrabel blaming the refs was a classless move. Buffalo scored 5 straight touchdowns. Buffalo, not the zebras.
Saying Buffalo didn’t get called for a single holding penalty? Did he forget Josh Allen’s TD run got called back? Or maybe the Bills scoring on the very next play affected his memory?
Saying Buffalo leads the league in holding? Let’s break that down. Buffalo had 28 Offensive holding penalties. 4 by wide receivers. That’s 2 a game through 14 weeks. Not a huge #. Maybe Buffalo didn’t need to hold against their DL.
Classless not to give credit to a team down 21-0 and won. Sorry Mike, not a good look.

Realistically they can call a hold on basically every play if they wanted to do so its just how much does it get called. As long as its the same both ways you cant really complain. He was most likely trying to bring attention that will get them more calls in their favor the next game

I did not like Vrabels take either. The Bills showed a lot of heart by not giving up after that first half. I truly thought it was over at halftime. Good on the Bills for a great win.

plus, I think Josh Allen is my favorite current player who is not a member of the patriots. He is so much fun to watch. I hope that someday Drake is as great as him.

Tuned in late, when Bills down 21-0. Thought was over as well. See how well NE puts this loss, especially the way they lost it, behind them.

You know I’m high on Drake Maye as a stud as I showed you the rookie cards I purchased before the season. He’s going to be a good one but the Bills made adjustments at half and confused him a bit. Rushing 5 created pressure. I said before the game I’ll believe the Patriots are for real if they beat the Bills. Well they lost but I believe they are for real but need a season to really contend. If Houston comes to town in the first round it’s going to be a nervous Saturday for Pats fan. Honestly I’ll be rooting for them as I’d rather not face Houston at any time, even at home

    now we're on the doorstep

but it's crazy -- even at 11-4 and in the 2 slot, we need another W

Great night to be a Bears fan. Incredible finish. Let’s go! 🙌

    monster victory

couldn't watch but followed along on my phone and almost puked all over it when i thought we were going to lose to the Pack for the umpteenth time......this time with Love out

    would have been demoralizing

Got to like your chances, they really put together a well rounded team and I like their chances

The Packers tried to "Dan Campbell" the game and go for the TD instead of the FG. Shows how much faith they have in the defense.

Johnson has been an incredible hire

guy has been everything i hoped he would be.....and so much more

can't help but wonder if he was the real reason behind Detroit's resurgence

look at the Lions without him......they've regressed
