Redfield Dollars Value?

I have several of these coins and find the story connected to them fascinating. The book about his life "Lavere Redfield Silver Dollar King" is very interesting . I'm giving a talk about the Redfield hoard at an upcoming coin club meeting and the question about the value of these coins is sure to come up. I'd like to know what value they have over numismatic value for the purposes of the talk not for my information since these Redfield coins of mine are going nowhere as long as I'm still kicking.

You can search sold/completed listings on ebay and find the answer for each date. Quite a premium due to the provinance (sp). Some are outright rare and some are very common.

One of the members here actively collected/collects them, not sure of his ID(Bryce something). Use the search field and you should be able to find him.

You might suggest a range in price predicated on condition and even color. The hoard contained several different dates. I believe there is a premium for the original Red Paramount holders. I suspect there would be a constant offering of most on Ebay.
good luck with the presentation- hope it goes well creating interest

There are many different holders with Redfield coins. The 3 colors of redfields, paramounts, Blanchards, NGC mentioned ....
Then you have the coin itself rarity and color and if it has a grade and by who.
Some people really like them.
