Check out this site. The 9 on the 1819/8s are slightly further than the other numerals on all except the O-106.

My 3rd edition Overton indicates the O-105 as a 1819 /18 also but the website is not acknowledging it.
So what is up with that? Website error or a change?

You are correct, the O-105 is an overdate. Six die marriages of the overdate are available, with only one representing the small 8 variety. The website is hidden with errors here and there. But can't beat the convenience of a website!

O-105 is NOT always considered an overdate anymore. It has been "shown" to be a die mark. See Bust Half Fever by Edgar Souders. Also shown by Steve Herrman in the AMBPR as "likely not an overdate".
My take after careful study of two I've owned and three others I've had time with? Edgar is right.
Small 9 over 8 is the O-101.
Then O-102 through O-106 for the Large 9 over 8's.
103 prime, 104a and 106 are the most challenging IMO.
“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”
Thanks @pursuitofliberty for the additional information and personal experience. I'll have to revisit BHF for the 1819/8 entry.

Also @pocketpiececommems probably the easiest way to recognize them is the squared top on the 1's in the date. Another reason I agree with Edgar. Also, I am of the mindset if you only had one, the 103a, in as late a Die State as you can find, is the best one, as if has neat reverse cracks. Of course as holed coins go, take what you can find. Look for those squared top 1's.

First one is an 1819/8 O-104. Great recutting (blundering) on star 2.
I THINK the second one is an O-108
