GTG (in the future) of 1915 Buffalo

Raw and still in transit, this one certainly seems to have potential if it’s as lustrous as the photo suggests. What is the consensus here on how our hosts will grade this one.

Wow! Nice pickup. Hope pics are accurate. If so, I would hope for 67.

65 shot 6….and please tell us YOUR grade estimate, when the time comes, as I know how well versed you are in these!
Photos may be blurry by design. I'm going to guess 64 tops.

A very nicely struck coin.
It's a minimum 65. I'll give it a 66 for the strike.

I'm in at a MS65/66 nice looking coin.
The consensus seems to be 65/66, with two outlier guesses of 64 and 67. I'm in the 65 to 66 camp myself, again, without having seen it in hand yet. To me, @Walkerguy21D it looks like "luster alone get this to X grade" with X being a 65 in this case. I'm hoping for a 66 since it looks to have a lot of meat on it and presents as a higher grade piece, but my enthusiasm is tempered by some chatter on the upper cheek on obverse as well as on and around front shoulder of buffalo.

Pictures are a little blurry but the strike looks hammered and the luster seems full. I see a few marks, so put me it the 65 camp unless the luster screams or the pictures are hiding something.

Post some photos when you have it in hand, looks like a gem to me.
Thanks…. I was on the fence if there was really some small marks on the cheek or not, but leaned towards yes, which kept my primary guess at 65. Either way, it’s a super buff!
Attractive coin. Tough to commit to a grade without seeing in hand. From what I see… 66 and possibly 66+. Hope the grade result meets your expectations

So I guess we find out in about 6 months?
Looks like it has a chance at being gem (MS 65) and that is what I will guess.
If we're lucky!
