Last one. Also, I did submit coins other than Peace Dollars and Washington Quarters, but these were the only five coins I have high-resolution photos of, and I don't like doing "guessing" threads without them. Results to follow this week.

Maybe because of the dinner plate sized pics, but I see too many marks for a 66. I think the toning is acceptable. Guess we'll see!

I'm also going with a No, although I could see it either way. I think the luster is a little muted from the darkish toning, and that will be the demise

Looks like typical mint set tone, I'm voting yes but could see the argument for no.

No for me….fairly large scratch on Washington’s head….below the E in Liberty on the obverse.
I don’t know whether the coin will sticker, but if it doesn’t, I don’t think that scratch will be the reason. It doesn’t look like a potential “sticker-killer” to me, even when viewing a very large image.

I actually like the obv; the rev not so much. The closeups, to me, show too many obv marks for a 66. Therefore, no CAC.

I think it will receive a green CAC sticker.

No cac to me and no that scratch shouldn't count (as stated above) ✌️
Cannot tell by the photos..
However, the PCGS incomplete label is awesome. Worth a hefty premium, i would love to buy it.
Nope, no soup for you.
I like it, don't get me wrong, nice piece, holder but honestly looks 65 to me.
From the slab shots it looks dark but your photos make the coin really pop. Seems like the usual original mint set toning CAC likes.

Perhaps I am not getting your humor, but you do realize the label appears completely normal and has simply been edited to hide information.

It’s just not above the C coin level for me. Very low end IMO.
Mark why do you feel the scratch would not lower the grade? Scratches don’t lower coin grades? Question is asked as I want to learn.
I'm not @MFeld, but if I interpret Mark's post correctly he never made the statement that a scratch would not lower the grade of a coin. Rather, he simply wrote that the apparent scratch on Washington's forehead on that coin would not preclude a CAC sticker at that grade level. These are two very different statements.

It was not my humor. I actually thought such a label could exist? LOL
After all, I do own this totally incomplete PCGS slab. It was NOT edited.
Do you own these or photo these from some dealers case at FUN?
@TomB, you interpreted my post correctly and explained it eloquently - thank you.
To take my opinion a step further… I believe that if the coin were cleaner, more lustrous and more attractive (as in otherwise MS68-worthy) the scratch should/would preclude a grade of 68 and possibly MS67. In other words, it’s more tolerable at the MS66 and lower grade levels.

I'm in the "no" camp, but I'm not an expert on Washington Quarters. Looking at the pic, I see what seems too many hit marks to get CAC'd. But, again, I'm no expert on this coin type.

Rocking my "shiny-object-syndrome"!!!
I don’t like the toning, at all. It impedes the luster and has negative eye appeal, IMHO.

I don't like it, so I'm going to say CAC shouldn't, either. Negative eye appeal toning.

Result: ✅ Yes, Green CAC
I love getting OGHs beaned, so was happy to see this one passed. I had guessed it would squeak by, but didn't feel strongly. The forum overwhelmingly (70/30) voted it wouldn't pass, so a contrary result is a good discussion opp.
Yes, the coin is darkly toned (negative at CAC), but very original (a positive). Eye appeal of course is subjective but I think it's fair to say it leans negative. The marks/hits folks pointed out were not disqualifying as a 66.
It was probably a borderline CAC pass, possibly helped along by the OGH and the fact that it's a sub-$100 coin and likely didn't take up much attention in the grading room.

All results been posted; check my post history if you missed the other reveals. I'll probably do another round of these in March after the ANA Money Show, as I have a few coins set aside for a submission already.

Congrats - way to go.
Well four for five, shucks no prize for me.
I'm not surprised this passed, I sent in a very dark toner as a curiosity for a sticker which also did green bean so I don't think JA is as biased against dark toning as some think.

CAC embraces negative eye appeal. If it's finely pitted and corroded or has lots of small hits all over the coin under the toning, it will definitely sticker so long as the toning is butt-ugly.
But what's the grade?
I don't like that one, either, but at least it's a wholesome butt-ugly, I guess.
