Maybe I'm missing something here but I saw this as an EF, it came back as a VF.

VF-30 in my opinion, but the EF grade has been “degraded” so there is aways hope. An EF should show virtually all the design with overall light wear. An EF-40 does not need to have any mint luster.

Ill go with vf 30 as well

Not XF. 35 on it's best day and 30 sounds better as noted above.
Still a very nice bust half with good eye appeal and well-preserved surfaces.
I see it as a VF also. 1826s are very well struck, generally speaking (I think of 1826s as the 1881-s of Morgan dollars) so many times you will see more remaining detail on a VF 1826 than you would on say a VF 1807-1814, for example.

VF. here.

Yep, looks like a VF to me too. A Choice VF, for sure ... I'd grade her 30 ... but not EF material.

Thanks. I looked up all the Overtons on this Bust 50c and nothing jumped out at me. Die break on top of obverse and reverse to left of eagle's wing.
I believe it’s a O.108
VF I see also. Nice coin indeed!

A nice VF but not even close to an XF.

IMO too much wear for a 40. I would give it a 30.
