I think this 1954 Topps Ted Williams #1 is his most beautiful card...and wanted to have at least one card of the Splendid Splinter in my personal collection. This card caught my eye for several reasons...eye-popping color, very nice corners for the assigned grade, nice centering with only a very subtle skewed image (problematic for the issue). I see no wrinkles or spider wrinkles under magnification and sunlight accounting for a 6.5. It seems to be undergraded by maybe a whole grade (7.5). Anyway...I'm happy to add it to my collection.

PSA has been tough on the items that end up in their Jumbo’s since the holder was introduced; rightly so as more surface area, thin stock of many of these items being very susceptible to wear and the lack of holders to accommodate them for a long time has made it so a grade of 5 is often the highest graded example.
I mention that mainly because there are only two higher graded examples than this one and it’s pretty sharp for the issue. These came in both Large and Small sizes and usually in an ordered group from a company called Sports Pix which produced a magazine and mail away photo offerings in the 1960’s…

I've always wanted to add a nice 1956 Topps Reese to my collection as he lived in my hometown of Louisville, KY for most of his life.
my goodness is that a nice Reese. how is that "only" a 7?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Great start so far guys! That '54 Ted Williams really pops.
I've been wanting a 1970 OPC Roberto Clemente for some time. Very hard to find centered as this card will attest to but it still works for me. I've also been warming up to SGC's holders:
Birthday gift from my oldest son, nailed my low grade nice eye appeal objective. My favorite card of Jackie
I believe I'm the only game collector here.
I don't pick up full sized games anymore since I'm out of storage space but this one was really cheap.
Has a weird mechanism of play action.
Has the box which is often missing.
Bambino.
Added this to my HOF RC Collection. If anyone has a signed copy,I'd love to see it!
How much did it sale for is one of the funniest and most ignorant things I've ever heard.
Always wanted a Berg for my catcher collection. Bowman’s are for my set build.
The color on that Reese is gorgeous. Have an 8 on the way and now when I open it I will think about how much nicer yours looks. Great pick-up!!!

Nice pickup. One of the oddest baseball card photos I've seen. Not sure what's going on with the bat and ball. lol
It’s only fitting that this card came back… well, you know… a GOAT 10…
Live long, and prosper.
Upgrade for my Jr Basic Set. These black borders are tough... Just 4 higher.

Won this one at Heritage tonight. Usually wait until card is in hand but I am too excited not to share. Really proud to add this one to my collection.
That’s a really nice 7.5 Great buy.
On the way to me
great pack would have been nice if moon or montana would have been on top of the pack
Brad…
Beautiful Jackie, congrats! That’s a strong 7.5.
That is an amazing Jackie 7.5! I'd be super thrilled with that card!

Not in hand yet but just popped with the scans and pleased with the results. I feel good about how my grades are with the more modern stuff I send in. Happy about the 1984 Nestle Atlee Hammaker PSA 10 cause that is older and those 10s are a lot tougher. POP 1. That is a personal collection thing for now. Since I cut it up I feel good when it grades well. Its like getting an A on my art project. Got a B on the Cal.
The Jim Brown is a bit loved too much but I love the centering.
That Atkins is a beauty.

Looks like this one is gonna need a corrected label. I believe it should say "Charmed" not chamred.
My cards on COMC
In other news those are the first 9-digit certs I’ve seen.
I saw the PSA app just had a release to accommodate the extra digit.. Just in time I guess...

I just watched this movie after not seeing it for decades. Made me buy the box.
Not a card but somewhat related. I used proceeds from the sale of my collection to buy this. I bought it Friday and it was delivered Saturday. 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat with only 290 miles on it. 717 horsepower with a top speed of 200 mph.
You win!

A bunch of newbies for the Football Hall of Fame set......
Reached 70% with these
Ebay pickup for my Bears PC. Always liked the imagery on this card, with the flag and the one handed catch.
Been looking for this one for a LONG time. Rare "checkerboard" back version. Only 2 graded.
i got these in the last week.
I like the Koufax RC...
Had some record poor results opening 14 packs of 1980 Topps football. Was rough cause I pulled the right cards. 2 Lester Hayes, 2 Largents, Payton Bradshaw. All had about 97/3 left to right centering. Worst centering I've ever seen. But I liked this one a lot. What would you say this would grade with PSA or SGC today? How about PSA in 2008? May just keep it raw. Love the All-Pro banners.
Was much more pleased with the Angels.
Thank you, I’ve wanted one for a while.
