A top set goes retired

I noticed that some of my Kennedy sets moved up in the standings.
When I researched to find out why, I noticed this.

**Has been retired!
Is this the start of the end to his Pcgs collections being active?
In a way, I hope not but with his new crossovers going to CACG grading, probably so.
Will wait and see if other sets are soon to go this way.

I believe your assessment may be correct. I had noticed it on a few other sets. CACG had advertised and displayed the 3 cent crossovers and both the silver and nickel are R (Retired) and including varieties.

I had #1 sets in 2023 & 2024 for MS Kennedy coins in 6/6 of the most important MS sets available that I competed in. Not a single #2 set. So, if this is true, I can confirm the “Top set” did not get retired in any of those MS Kennedy registry set competitions. I can not speak to the Proof Kennedy sets for which I do not participate.

I like your #1 Kennedy sets. Some pretty rare high grades with many coins being pop1/0.
Just to clarify my point was that Hansen is retiring his Pcgs sets.
The set that I listed was a #1 set and is listed in the All Time Finest listings as so.
I do consider a set in the top 5 all time finest category, as a top set.
