I read where the injury was a hamstring pull. I pulled my hamstring in high school football. I wrapped an ace bandage around it, taped it up, and played through it.

But I guess Dak didn't choose that option.
Your old school that's why
It's something sorely missing from today's athletes but I guess if your playing for millions of dollars they want to make sure it stays at just a pulled hammy and not get worse
one thing you've got is a great back. it is fun watching Robinson tote the rock. dude is quick, shifty and slithery. he puts moves on defenders and regularly picks up 3, 4, 5 extra yards that most backs wouldn't

And it's amazing that it's shown since the Falcons are using him, that complete tool bag of a coach Arthur Smith last year barely used him or Pitts and they were both first rounders lol

According to reports, Prescott tore part of is hamstring off the bone. Somehow I doubt your minor hamstring pull with an ace bandage wrap was equivalent.
I don't think Dak is a great QB but always better to wait to see what the actual injury is before implying that you are tougher than an NFL player.

Watch Cooper Rush suddenly turn into Tom Brady against the Eagles on Sunday. Happens every time. Hopefully not this time.
I'd rather have Dak in there. 🤷♂️
I was thinking the same thing
We shall see what happens on Sunday. But it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Dallas D stepped it up to a much higher level than they've been playing, and the Eagles have a little bit of trouble scoring points.
I saw one line of Eagles -7.5 at Dallas. I don't recall ever seeing an Eagles line at Dallas like that. Perhaps the Eagles cover, but it wouldn't surprise me if the game is closer than expected.

Subconsciously these guys are probably thinking they all need to step it up a bit more with Rush in there but who knows, all reasonable signs point to the Eagles smashing Dallas but you can never ever count on sound reason when it comes to NFL games

Yes, trying to handicap NFL games, you can "reason" yourself into an insane asylum with what happens during a game, versus what is supposed to be happening. 😂
I wonder if there is a long term stat, say ten or twenty years worth, of how a team does ATS in their next game as a dog, when they lose their starting QB, and replace him with a backup? I would guess that the ATS winning rate on the dog might be on the plus side, and perhaps significantly?

IDK but I specifically remember back in the 90's when the 49'ers came to Foxboro to play the Pats with the back up Scott Zolak starting at QB and they beat the 49'ers who were big favorites

The game you mentioned appears to be the week 15 game in the link, and it appears to be the first game that Zolak started, replacing the starting QB.
Dam - you beat me to the info. All that hard research i just did for nothing. 😉

Another good example is Nick Foles in that Super Bowl winning season for the Eagles. It's arguable that the Eagles may not have won it, if Carson Wentz would have stayed in the lineup. I believe there is merit to that train of thought. I mean Foles morphed into some sort of Superman mode during that time.
I forget who the Eagles beat in that Super Bowl. If could post the losing team, I'd appreciate it. 😉

Sometimes it seems the best way to bet the NFL is to zero in on one game. Then zero in on the one team that should logically win. Then bet the other team.

I'll give you a system that's guaranteed to work. Flip a coin on whatever game you're gonna bet and call heads or tails on which team you want to win. If ya call heads and the coin turns up heads, bet the other team. If ya call tails and the coin turns up tails, bet the other team. If you call the coin toss incorrectly, then bet on your team. This system will win 100% of the time, from here to eternity.

Cowboys' stadium is a palace with one blinding flaw
It's the details that kill ya. AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas is Jerry Jones' crowning architectural achievement, a monument to Cowboy excellence and a model for the next generation of billion-dollar sports palaces. It's a majestic creation, with just one small flaw: it has a tendency to blind players.
The angle of the late-year sun with the east-west positioning of the stadium combines to create an environment that's literally tough to look at. Check out how it looks from the field:

Giants think it's the gunshot signaling the end of the game and they run off the field into the locker room. Ten plays later the Cowboys scored. (yes it's a take on the old ethnic country joke - LOL)
The Giants are the midgets this year. It will be a happy day for the cow pokes.

They were underdogs going into the game tell you the truth I didn't realize Dak got hurt but they are not that great on offense or defense
CD Lamb is the top 3 or 4 WR in the league, that's all they got.

even if you're not proficient at lip reading it was clear as day
the Cowboys are circling the drain and i love it

If the boys continue to lose might be wise to keep sharp objects and firearms away from Jones. Also don't let him into very high rise buildings.

Surely you all realize that the NFL Week 9 moneyline favorites went 15 for 15 last week? That was the easiest money I'll ever make!
Edit: Saints were -300ish to -400, and they lost. I didn't bet them though.
What else does this work with?
Cooper Rush is vying for the Ryan Leaf player of the week award.
Guess the Super Bowl is out for this season.
This is just too much fun.
I've got so much smack to post and so little time to do it.
Trey Lance's turn. If he passes for more than ten yards, Dallas will give him a ticker tape parade on Monday.
Is Romo still available?
Give him a quick phone call.
Dallas just made a first down. The QB looks puzzled trying to figure out what that means?
I just sent Jerry Jones a generous donation.
Stop the game already. Please, I can't take any more laughter.
😂😂😂😂😂 @stevek
I knew the smack was too much piling on, after the second or third one, but I just couldn't stop my fingers from typing more on the keyboard. 😂
