Because many of us big Clemente fans knew that was his last card . Every year the new cards came out you would be excited to see your favorite MLB stars in a new card. Not Clemente that would be his last card.

I am not old enough to have opened ‘73 packs in ‘73 but I love the card for this reason - plus it has his final stats with exactly 3000 hits.
