So i was looking at old submissions of mine to ANACS, PCGS and NGC the other day. I was interested to see what year I started submitting coins. For me it was 2002 when I got back into coins after a hiatus since childhood. Post your earliest submission if you can find it! Mine was a hodge-podge of moderns and classics. My very first order was to ANACS and included two counterfeit Trade dollars. I guess? I've learned a lot since then! I started submitting to PCGS a year later (2003).

I started submitting the major coins in my collection too many years ago (late 1990s) to remember the very first one. This 1805 dime had to be among the first. PCGS graded it AU-58.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Back in 1991 PCGS offered to review for cross, 3 of any other grading company's slabs, for FREE. Hard to believe I know! I submitted a 1909 VDB cent in a Hallmark slab, a 1883 NC nickel in ANACS, and this gold dollar in NGC. All 3 upgraded and crossed. This was the first gold dollar purchase. I know have 77.
