I need your help: my very first purchase of US coins

Dear collectors and coin experts,
about a week ago I purchased my very first US coins. I found them at a local flea market in Germany for the equivalent of 65 Dollars.
Usually I only collect medievel German coins, so this is completely new for me.
Could you please give me your oppinion on the coins?
Best regards,
Göttinger

    Welcome to the forum.
For the price you did well. They all contain at least 75% silver.
Nothing too valuable but a nice variety.
FYI- The first coin is a silver 3 cent piece known as a trime.

I think that you did just fine with that price, especially the trime and the quarter.

I find that many coins in Europe have been cleaned and messed with. Seems like a normal way to keep coins, there. Here we shun away from any coin that has been cleaned. It does hurt the value and desireability to the collector here in the US.
You did just fine on those, however. Even with the cleanings your value is still there at $65.

I agree... they're all cleaned VG-VF coins, but you have a bit of silver and some decent older US Type. For $65 I think you did pretty well...

For the price you paid you are OK. In the future avoid cleaned coins. The US coin market discounts cleaned coins heavily.

Welcome to the forum. Not a silver counterfeit specialist by any means, it appears you did well. While most likely all cleaned, you made a great purchase. If not cleaned, your trime would have covered your cost. My Opinion. I think you have made one of the best initial purchases of raw U.S. Coins I have witnessed.
    Great assortment. Congrats.

Hey, if it makes you happy, then all the better. Especially, finding and buying them so far from the US! A cool find!

A decent deal for older U.S. cleaned coins. A lot of cool variety there.

    Welcome to the club.

Welcome to the forum. If your objective is to collect raw, circulated U.S. coins in good condition it’s a good start. Just be on the lookout for counterfeits. Most older collectors that started collecting before the advent of third party grading service (tpg’s) start collecting raw, circulated coins. The hobby isn’t limited to slabbed, mint state coins.

    Enjoy!

    Welcome aboard.
As stated, the coins have been cleaned but are a great incentive to continue to buy some more American coins in the future.

As stated, the coins have been cleaned but what you paid was not unreasonable. I would suggest never buying coins are a flea market - there are many scams. JMHO.
