Sweet! Thanks for sharing.
Your coins make me want to spend my wedgits. I would say it’s like having a museum in your safety deposit box but I interned at the Smithsonian and i can’t remember any of their proofs $20s that were that nice.
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
Magnificent coins.
It is hard to imagine that these three Proof coins spent between approximately 80 to 115 years (or more depending on when they were first graded by a TPG) raw. To survive that long in such pristine condition boggles my mind.
It is true that the Forums are one of life's "simple pleasures", as it is a place where hobbyists of all kinds can read, see and learn so much about the hobby. Without the Forums I would rarely, if ever, be able to see coins such as the three posted in this thread.
Thanks FFL for sharing these coins with fellow forumites.
STUNNING!!
Wow! Incredible!

Hard to imagine an encore for that act?!?
The FFL provenance is going to mean a lot some day, if it doesn’t already.
Goodness gracious those are great coins.
How long did it take to collect all those ?
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Absolutely (insert superlatives here)!!!
Wooooofff!!!!
So they are!

Thank you for sharing those spectacular beauties with us. That's a sight to behold.
Nice coins!
Interesting how the PCGS images show more cameo contrast than the CAC images. Which images are more accurate?

Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
Congrats. Now to get them crossed over to proper PCGS holders. RGDS!

Truly spectacular! Off the charts eye appeal and incredible rarity! I expect yours will be one of the most-liked posts in the history of this forum.

Thanks for sharing those - super nice!
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.

That is some pudding!
A triple delight that's quite the sight!
There must be an incredible amount of droopy faced ladies in Florida!
I'm awestruck by that '66. Congrats on the acquisitions!
Love those "REFLECTIVE" mirrored surfaces. They challenge the reflective surface on a posting I just made over on the Friday Photo Thread:
(The challenge was to find the darting Koi as filmed in my recent early April morning visit to Hakone Japan's Sangetsu Traditional Japanese Pond Garden with its stunning reflective mirrored waters.)
Feel free to share a full minute of peace and serenity as one watches and listens to the slightly rippling waters as they reflect the majestic trees which extend beyond the moss covered stones on the shore.
Here are the 68 seconds of rivaled "REFLECTION:"

Those are gorgeous. Definitely the peak of the Mint’s skill in proof coinage.
crazy
Fantastic as always!
The modern version of these fabulous classic proof $20’s!
These were selling at barely any premium over gold bullion value. Had to snap up a few of thrm.
Thanks everyone and it’s a pleasure to be able to share!
The PCGS photos are more accurate to the in hand look of the coins!
It’s easy to remember- in March 2020 when Covid struck I owned not a single gold coin, so it’s been a new direction over the last four years.
if I were a plastic surgeon numismatist, I'd use my coins in anesthesia, you know, start showing your museum quality rarities and your patients pass out from boredom
Those coins must be so delicate. Definetly a cotton gloves coin. I would even dare touch it. You'd need to have cushions set up in case it were to drop. All those years before holders that coin had to be treated with the utmost care.
Thank God for TPG holders. Now it's safe and sound.
