Why is the tiny image in my signature suddenly displaying as enormous?!

Anyone else have this happen?
As of a few days ago the tiny image of the Lincln cent rolls in my signature (it's only 200x98 pixels) is displaying as gigantic.
Nothing has changed, it's just all of a sudden displaying like this...am I the only one seeing it?!
I re-uploaded the exact same image to my signature this morning to see if it would fix it, it didn't.
Question for our host or a moderator maybe?

Must be a glitch as I have seen a couple of others with the same thing happen today. I noticed @bronzemat had what looked to be the same thing happen.

Hmm, when that old thread about color weight in grading all of the emojis were huge. I’m assuming it’s due to the same cause, whatever it is.

It’s probably because someone excavated old threads that have dormant viruses which are awakened.

I noticed the same for the image in my signature line, as well.

I copied the OP image and resized it. Pasted it, did a preview and it showed full size. (in this comment box)
I took another random image of mine and resized it. Pasted it, did a preview and it showed full size. (in this comment box)
Right now it appears my old method of resize and paste does not work as the images still show up full size.
Not sure if this is true for others or other resize methods.
EDIT: @PCGS_Moderator appears there is a forum bug where many, most or all pictures come out full size.

I can only assume this is a forum software issue that is beyond users' control to fix. If seeing huge signature images is bothersome, check the "strip images out of signatures" box in the signature settings of your profile. Once someone announces that it's fixed, turn it back on, unless you want it permanently off like I do.

I dunno

BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Put my profile image in my signature to test.
Same result.
This image is 2x2 pixels, there is also some weird filtering going on.

Has anyone reported this software glitch?

I just reported it. I clicked on the flag button on the opening post and explained the problem that several forum members are having and request that they look into it.

Just change it to Large Copper Guy and you're good.
Maybe your photos have stayed the same size and everything else has shrunk down. 🤔
Thanks for letting us know, we have someone looking into this.
We will keep you posted.
So I'm guessing this hasn't been resolved yet then?
Appreciate you letting us know you noticed though!

Any update? This is still an ongoing issue.
I see it is fixed for the signature lines, but small images in the text bodies are still being expanded to full-width.

I went looking for a picture that wasn't expanded to full width. Couldn't find one. It's safe to say that all images in text bodies are being unconditionally resized to the width of the text area. It's just most noticeable on the smallest ones.

Hey that Peace dollar looks just like all the Peace photos that I take.
I sent the mods a message on this a while ago, and included a link to this thread. I don’t know whether anyone had mentioned the main body photos yet.

Hello,
There has been an update that should have fixed the image issues.
Please tag me and let me know if the image issue still persists.
Thanks
Here's a thread where the photos display on my phone as enlarged and compressed side-to-side. If I turn my phone sideways the photos correct themselves.
