Green is my favorite color, so naturally emeralds appeal to me. I have a few I’ve been able to get basically free in estate jewelry that I only had to pay the scrap gold price.
Here are a few of those. I don’t really wear jewelry, I just have a small collection of interesting finds primarily emeralds.
I also have been getting into currency, so the greenbacks are always cool to look at…

Here's a coin that was found in a change purse that belonged to my Great-grandmother. The O'Kennefeck's (other spellings too) immigrated to this country in 1845 to escape the famine. This coin was found when my sister was going through our mother's effects after she'd passed. It was so small that she almost put it in a pile to go off to Goodwill.
