Key Date Toner 1851-O

Well… Not sure how I was fortunate to upgrade on a date that I once thought I would struggle to own at all, but I did. I have looked at countless 51-O’s online, and at coin shows for the past couple years and haven’t seen even 1 with an ounce of eye appeal for a circulated grade… and then I found this one…
The more you look at it, the more it sucks you in…
Below was my original 51-O
And here is my upgrade… just as nice in-hand as it is in the true-views:
Would love to see some more nice circulated 51-O’s posted on this thread to join this one!!

JBN - what grade is yours?

Sweet JBN. Very nice piece.
Crepidodera! What a beautiful cac’d example you have! Wow. Love it.
Ljenkins11 - yours is too!!
Which do you all think is harder to find in circulated condition with eye appeal?
The 1851-O?
…or the 52-O ?? And why???
Congrats on the pickup and persistence. Looks like less and a dozen have come to auction in XF-AU this decade. That is an accomplishment!

Very nice for the grade! Attractive.
I collect $5 libs, but don't have an 'O' yet.
My AU53 CAC is not as attractive as yours!
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
My two are so low grade I don't even have photos or scans of them. Even worse, they're both the same grade (VG10) and die marriage (WB-5).
Interestingly, New Orleans minted 10 denominations in 1851, the most of any year, and all denominations authorized except for the silver dollar.
Your upgrade is beautiful - nice choice. This one's a little sad looking but sometimes you get what you paid for.
Before I get comments... This is the 2"X2" it was purchased in years ago... no longer in it.

@mark_dak I think your 51-O looks nice. That planchet defect is cool-looking, particularly at the rim.
Edited to add: that coin whispers to me. It may be burnished a bit, but I find it to be interesting and attractive.
