Please be very careful buying China as there are some good and not so good counterfeits floating around
Apart of that, i been looking a China HA comming auction, just to get an idea of current avail, where values end, etc.
I saw this import tariff:
NOTE: This lot was manufactured in China and was sourced from outside the United States for this auction after September 1, 2019. Under the new US tariffs on Chinese goods, collector's items from China will be subject to a 7.5% import tariff.
So, if I end up buying not from the auction, from overseas and delivery the item to the USA, the dealer will add that tax?

Or that it is only for the particular auction?
Or if they are ship directly only from Hong Kong?
Thanks.
I have no idea how that might look or be enforced...
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Me too, went again to HA and checked other coins from China and not all have that Note about the tariff. Anyway simple curiosity. Thanks!
If you have a lot of interest in the coin... call Heritage and simply ask to speak to someone that may know how this might work.

A box of 20 of those would need to be about the size of a large toaster oven.

It would be worth it.![>:) >:)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/naughty.png)
Just don’t store them in a toaster oven…it would throw the burglars for a loop though.
I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.
Toaster oven could add monster toning, though. People pay extra for that...
