Show who you want to win, via coins.
49ers- several possibilities
-1849 dated coins
-California Gold Rush Issues
-If you don’t have those, anything minted in San Fran?
Chiefs-
-Any design with an Indian on it, I guess?
- feel free to improvise if you have another idea
I’ll go first:
However, I don’t know if the “script” will allow for a Swiftie SuperBowl loss, so my money will probably be on the chiefs 😂.

I simply don't care who wins, don't like pro football. I watched Brock play in high school so I guess I'll root for the home town kid.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
With coins, who has time for the Super Bowl?

Oh, you're talking about the cheap seats. Think of the coin or coins you could buy and watch the game on tv.

No option for a coin featuring a fast runner, for those rooting for Taylor Swift (fast)? 😉

I don’t care who wins, but the TayTay nonsense is annoying, so here’s two in support of the 49ers

I like both teams for the most part, but the KC thing is getting old, and being West Coast, and that I like a lot of the SF players including Brock and CMC, so ...

No Taylor Swift, that's for sure.......and I'll pass on the half time show also. (grumpy old man here!!)

I’ve grown sick of the Taylor drama.
Only Brock can save us now.
Not my coin.
Coin Photographer.
Neither team but will take for SF tired of seen the same teams win Super Bowls. Brady kinda did that to me and now Mahomes.
Living in Southern California I root for every Northern California team to lose.
I don't see your name on there, are you "sushi" by any chance? lol

My wife was tasked to do stained glass for someone, last year.
Having lived in the SF bay area and also having lived in the KC metro area, I will be searching ebay for auctions ending during the game....I will just put the game on mute, listen to music and search, search, search.

Coins and smooth Hennessy, neat. Pay bills with what's left, fwiw (nothing)
That is a fantastic guess but not correct. It's a pretty large buy-in so myself and a few friends pooled up. We are Quads in the squares.

Green Bay- but I guess I'll have to wait till next year, or the year after, etc.
I'm still hoping the Tonawanda Kardex will make a comeback.
49ers...just to mix things up a bit.

I don’t have any emotional attachment to either one. Baltimore, because of the many coin shows and youthful attraction to the one time Baltimore Colts, would have been a favorite. Detroit, because they have not won since 1957, would have been the other. I guess my choice will be San Francisco by default.
My daughter and wife will be watching the Super Bowl for the very first time. Guess why?
I will be outside working on my Bonsai trees.
Since the Chiefs beat the Ravens, I have no preference for who wins the Usher performance, at which I understand Taylor Swift’s boyfriend will likely be playing. If arm twisting were employed, I’d have to go with…
And
Don’t have a rooting interest but my household (two young girls) is pro-Taylor so go Chiefs!
Two of a kind...............
@MFeld Winged Mercury is Swift!
Of course there's someone in this thread that has to pee all over the floor.
Being a frustrated Vikings/Texans fan, I'm pretty neutral for this year but I'll lean...

Maybe there are no other bookish types out there, like me, not interested much in professional sports.

I care about the 1908 MLB season.
Here's an interesting story. When I was little, we lived at 2301 Jefferson Ave, Redwood City, CA and the 49'er practice stadium was 1/2 block away. The Coach was Red Hickey and YA Tittle was the QB. This was like mid 50's. The field had a tarp all the way around it on the fence to keep people out but us neighborhood kids were always welcome. We'd go through the main door (locker rooms) and get to watch the practices. Mr. Red was on the top of a scaffolding so he had a better view of the field and plays, etc. Between plays the players would push the scaffolding up and down the field for him! But, here's what is cool. They had us kids (three or four (memory escapes me on how many) clean the locker rooms after practice (child labor?). But if you did it for the entire week you were given a signed game ball (real pigskins back then). My brother actuall stuck it out (they were a chore to clean, messy, shaving cream, mirrors, lockers, etc) and he got a game ball. Well, to us kids the ball was not something to save but we had a football for neighborhood scrimmages! Yep, he still has the ball but can't read a signature on it for the life of ya.
So, I guess I'll go with the 49ers. if I have to choose.

Live in the Bay Area now but both my parents are from northeastern Kansas, so I will split the difference and pull for Denver.

I’m rooting for a tie with it going to 13 overtime periods when I’ll be asleep.
