I've spent the last few months working on a comprehensive research of these coins and it pretty much comes down to this - the coins were never in Adam's possession for any significant amount of time. I'd bet she never had the coins in her possession for more than a few days, if at all. They were somehow distributed to more than one person, with a large chunk of the sets going to Lester Merkin. Those were then sold by Stacks, where the "SMS" moniker was created.
so at the bottom of the coin facts letter it plainly says one of these coins was spent kinda like this
"This defect has been seen on all examples except one. In an admittedly rare hypothtical situation where one of these remarkable coins was spent, the defect can be used to confirm the original status of the coin."
You may be taken more seriously if you choose to write the English language with some basic punctuation.
For what it is worth, most of us are tired of hearing from newbies that come here trying to convince us (without any evidence) that they've found these 1964 SMS coins in pocket change. I know you took many pictures, but the truth is that you have a common date coin worth melt. While technically not impossible, it is highly, highly unlikely you are going to find one of these in the wild. Better chance of getting struck by lightning while holding the winning mega millions lottery ticket, while walking on water with Elvis Presley.

so doesn't that count as pocket change?
Google "hypothetical "
They are saying it could happen not that it did happen.
wow im hurt.... it goes from looking at picture to out right assault on a person for no reason whatsoever than someone asking them to look at a picture and give a opinion. the only new thing i've learned tonight is i understand why new people hate coin collecting for reasons that just happened to me. the hobby is or has turned into a breeding ground for disrespect and put downs .. it was just about pictures i didn't say anything to insult anyone at any given time

Rudeness was unnecessary. However, you did more than simply show pictures. You argued with people who were trying to explain why you couldn't have an SMS coin. Now, that doesn't excuse all rudeness, but if you are going to enter into a dialogue, a little open-mindedness and humility would make the exchange of ideas more convivial. Making the same, repeated, incorrect affirmative statements does turn people off. It is also impossible to learn anything new with that attitude.
I'm sorry we couldn't provide confirmation to your bias.

What would be really neat is if someone would take 15-20 min. out of their day and really compare the two coins and give me a truthful opinion.
You changed the subject from the coin discussion to forum members here.
You imply that it is not neat that we do not help enough.
Is this where replies begin to sting?
One pays around fifty dollars for an examination by a TPG to look at it for five minutes?
You think someone owes you twenty minutes for free?

Get some assistance to fill out the forms, too.
Dude, it’s NOT an SMS coin. Get over it
OP has deleted all his posts on the NGC forum.
Guess he didn’t like the answers he got over there.
The OP gives @SlickCoins vibes although SlickCoins was better at trolling.
