Correct me if I am wrong, but, at the time Laura spoke incessantly about dreck and widgets she also spoke of disliking (very much) modern coins. Then along came the #1 set of Jefferson nickels as a consignment to Legend Auctions from one of the strongest “9 figure” US coin collectors in the world (I know who because I sold him Justhavinfun’s #1 Jefferson set) and I started reading descriptions by Legend of amazing Jefferson nickels! Wow- now that was real progress! More modern coins followed in their auctions to be sure. Heck, I bought from Legend in 2023 for around $30,000.00 (against a $6,000 - $8,000 estimate if I recall) a modern coin from the 1970’s! My checkbook is ready to buy 50 more coins just like it!

My suggestion - don’t close Legend. Just make it primarily a modern coin auction company. I have 10,000+ coins I could possibly consign to them this quarter alone! No descriptions needed at all on any of the modern coin lots!! The cheapest of pics do just fine as well. A new way of making big money. If I was a younger man, I would do it myself! lol. Time to think outside the box!

    Don’t miss the opportunity!

    Just my 2 cents.
