Again, I have no dog in this hunt; I will never participate in this lottery, but I also don't mind that others do. And, no, I cannot imagine that this lottery, even if it's not entirely random, will "harm" the hobby, since (i) precious few people who like gambling will be turned off to coin collecting by this game; (ii) precious few people who don't like gambling will participate or be turned off to coin collecting, and (iii) this game is not coin collecting, but gambling.
That out of the way, I am garnering some tiny bit of sympathy for the fans of this game. While I don't understand the need to flog the game so determinedly, I find the zealots who must demonize the game, each and every time anyone says anything good about the game, to be, at best, tiresome and annoyingly holier-than-thou, with a self-appointed need to "prove" their point, over and over and over. Pro tip to the zealots: If you have to be so determined, you're obviously not "proving" your point, but you are proving something else.

Often I don't even open these thread types but if I do it is usually a glance through.
The good, they sometimes remind me of some music and in this case - Five Finger Death Punch and Trouble.

Upon reading more in depth about series 5 boxes I discovered that the packs are not for individual sale. Instead the Series 5 box will contain 3 sealed packs each containing 1 coin.
I am disappointed because I thought the packs were being sold separately.
I think VB made a mistake not expanding to individual packs.🤔

That would be a good point, if you were the target for this round. Which you are not. Did you read any part of this thread? It hasn't been kind to you.

Yes. My feelings are very hurt. If I cared, I would have deleted my account a long time ago.
I actually probably am a target for all of their rounds, aside from the fact that I am way too smart to get involved with them. Because I have money and they want to separate me from it.
You are also free to put me on Ignore whenever my posts become too much to bear.

So expecting you to self-regulate and act like an adult is just too much for you? It's on everyone else to ignore your stupidity. Got it.

No. Expecting me to allow you, Freddie and Joe to regulate me is just too much for me, and why our hosts have provided you with an Ignore function, so we can all have our cake and eat it too.
Yes. If anyone considers my posts to be "stupidity," there is a self service solution that does not infringe upon my right to participate, for the benefit of anyone who values my contributions, while not subjecting anyone to any content they find even a little bit annoying.

When I get an email from NGC announcing their partner’s latest VB release, I know their involvement is more than just grade and box. I think the VB announcements would be better received ATS.
Now that we got that out of the way, let’s discuss CACG’s super-fast turn around times; unless that would also be rude to our hosts.
Oh dear Ghu, if we could get Freddie over ATS and let him and VKB go after each other - A that would be something to read on the ghost town and B I would pay to see it.

This can of worms should be opened from the inside. Let the purveyors and or buyers start these threads. It's a relevant marketplace activity, positive or negative, but the information or discussion is only worthwhile if it originates from direct involvement.

Because no one ever has anything worthwhile to say about anything they are not directly involved with? Got it!
Because this subject is a particular form of entertainment that turns into acrimony and vitriol. Do you think that is a good usage and purpose of this message board?
Let the participants of the VB program bring up the issues, not as a form of entertainment of bystanders to incite an eventual closed thread.
NJ already stated that they refuse to self regulate and need to be policed by the community and moderators.
I would just put them on ignore, it's less frustrating.

This ^^^. We honestly don't need one member posting about when they think other members should and should not be allowed to participate in threads. Especially not on a thread that otherwise hasn't seen any action in 2 months, other than one random post with a picture of one random coin that no one commented on.
That's why we have mods, and they have already weighed in, several times on this particular topic.
I specifically was referring to starting these threads. People are starting these threads for pure incitement, and eventual closing. What does that accomplish?

I actually agree, although the last one really hasn't been too bad.
Still, I think everyone should be allowed to contribute. Hopefully I have revealed that, while I am not a fan, I am also not a hater. I really think most people here generally agree about the merits of the product (or the lack thereof) as well as the right of consenting adults to indulge their desires.
FWIW, neither of the last two threads have been closed. Maybe it's a coincidence, but neither of them was started by Freddie. I think people are at a point now where they can express opinions without either attacking, or feeling attacked, by others. That seems to be the big difference, since the product, and opinions, really haven't changed.

Its no different than any otherTPG's labeling racket. Does NGC really have anything to do with the way these coins are sold ?
What???! well,, here's a different tactic. Since all the NEW threads regarding VaultBox get bammed.... let's call up an old one and see what happens! lol... here we go again....

I guess the term “hater” must mean someone deploying basic logical reasoning skills who has beyond a middle school education. As such, we need many more “haters.”

It's likely just paid advertising. There's a Legend banner on this page. I get almost daily emails from Greysheet advertising various dealers and auctions. What makes anyone think that NGC didn't just sell an ad to VB?

Here's the reverse. I think it's an AU coin but yeah the eye appeal isn't that great.
It doesn't matter to me. You can spend your money gambling. I will spend mine on something I want without dredge possibilities.

The coingeek weighs in on two boxes - OUCH, PAINFUL.............. Watch until the end where his lists greysheet and 'guide' values.................

I watched the entire video. At no time did I get excited about what I saw. My response to the six coins contained in the two Vault Boxes was "Meh".
Cool 1812 half but ouch on the $1300 loss.
yup...........
Gotta love this comment on the YTube link to thecoingeek vid:

Just looks horrible without a CAC sticker.
