I don't get it.
Why?
Crack it out.
Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard
It's my collecting series. Just making a joke about the general hate for vaultbox.
Well the hate by a few members is real and the biggest hater of all was successful in baiting another member in to flagging him so now the Mods closed the VB 5 thread.🙄
They should stay in their lane
Overhyped Bullion?
It was a joke. Your hatred has killed your humor.
Return to your overhyped Mint shenanigans.

"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
The haters have nothing on the indifferent... but always nice to have a drama thread or 2 around here 🤗
I was two thirds through that other (now closed) thread and wanted to reply with what I thought is a clever, snarky reply when I was reminded the thread was closed.
That is this morning's disappointment.
peacockcoins
I do not deal in shenanigans, prove it !
I deal in extremely rare eye appealing coins.
You do deal in overhyped bullion.
Regarding the VB threads indifference is absolutely fine with me and I feel the same way about many of the thread topics on this forum. 😎
The difference is there are a few extreme haters that obsess on getting a thread shutdown instead of just ignoring it. 🤣😂
Save it for my next VB 5 thread that will inform of the price, release date and HHL.😉
Those of us who don't care one way or the other about "gambling for coins" find all the passion, on both "sides" of this thing, to be highly entertaining! I have no idea why anyone cares to buy coins randomly like this (having no idea what they will get, or how much it will be worth), and I have no idea why anyone cares to vilify a harmless lottery game.
But, by all means, carry on!
Have you tried ignoring the haters instead of engaging in flame wars every thread? The fastest way to get someone to argue with you is to quote them repeatedly.

Yes I have them on ignore. Wish they would learn to use the Ignore feature as well.😎
VB 4 survived because of that. Unfortunately this time another member not only took the bait but flagged the hater and the thread was shutdown.
Of course you are quick to accuse me of fanning the flames and not the member who started the fire AGAIN.🙄
No it's not.
It was I. A master baiter got the better of me.
You were not the baiter.🤣😂
Can't wait!
Among other reasons, beside the absolutely horrible value offered, and the resulting potential long term harm to the hobby, the possibility that distribution might not be as random as represented makes it far from harmless. That alone would make it worth vilifying, each and every time it is promoted.
Of course you do. That would allow you to continue to promote this garbage unchallenged.
The member who started the fire is the member who started the thread, and who will continue to do so for no particular reason, since there is really nothing interesting to discuss. Just a product of questionable value that the enthusiastic promoter needs to promote, even though he admittedly cannot afford to participate himself.
Stop promoting VB on this forum, and I will stop criticizing it here. Simple, both for you and for anyone else who finds the repetition tiresome.
Otherwise, just stop complaining about the critiques, or personally attacking those expressing opposing viewpoints, and nothing will be shut down. For the record, I have never put anyone on Ignore, nor complained about anyone or any threads to the mods. The fire, as well as its results, are entirely your creation.
You are free to post whatever the mods allow. As am I, and anyone else who cares to participate. Either stop promoting VB here, or stop trying to control the resulting threads, and you'll be fine. Or go start your own website where you'll be free to control all the content.
I do not. I mostly deal in classical coins, paper money and comic books. I sell very little NCLT
You could take some responsibility and change the way you interreact with the community. Currently you are basically a LOL-cow of the VB thread. I'm sure some people post just to watch you be defensive and overly emotive. It's a lot easier to just blame the trolls and the haters, but there is a reason all your threads get closed, and that reason isn't the trolls.

Nor am I responsible for homonyms.
This is substantial; two quarrels in one thread. Maybe WQF discovers a new way to rant in the forum. Anybody posts _x-
VB-#.# in a title and we wait for the masterhators.
Did anybody notice that VB5's top coins are worth way way more than previously, this means that most of the boxes will be even a worse gamble.
Several of the commentators here aren't the only people doubling down on stupid.
ANA 50 year/Life Member (now "Emeritus")
Not only that, but they are likely to charge waaay more than people are thinking for each box. I'm thinking $1,500+.
As I said before, this is where VB really cleans up, after priming the pump and conditioning the market with the first 4 rounds, or where they finally hit a wall because the people who can afford to play this time are somewhat more sophisticated than those who came before.
The irony of that statement...
It only counts if someone else does it.
I'm apparently at least a little dense, because I don't see the irony at all.
Yes, I repeatedly express an opinion highly critical of the product, and I question why someone not connected in any way to VB feels compelled to incessantly promote it, even when threads are repeatedly shut down. But I never complained to the mods about content, never tried to get anyone banned, never asked to have any threads closed.
And, believe it or not, never tried to control what anyone did with their money, assuming they understood what it was they were buying. I've been repeatedly falsely accused of being the fun police, but I never told anyone not to participate. I never even suggested that the product should be outlawed, although I truly do not understand why the state of California would not want to regulate it. I only told people why I think it's a bad, unregulated bet.
The exact opposite of all the cheerleaders, except at least my opinion aligned with my actions. Many of my detractors cannot honestly say the same. So, what irony am I missing?
OTOH, from the very first VB thread, @WQuarterFreddie seemed to think that starting a thread made him its moderator. And he has been frustrated ever since by his inability to control how people react, or what they post. And then shocked when his complaints, or those by his pals, result in threads being closed by the mods. And then failing to understand that doing the same thing over and over rarely changes the result.
Jerze—hypocrisy, whatever.
Yes, whatever. Either stop promoting the same thing, over and over. Or live with the criticism, over and over.
Ironic? Hypocritical? Whatever.
Tells someone to stop controlling what’s posted, while trying to control what’s posted😂
Exactly!😂🤣
Whatever. But, I'm not starting threads, and I'm not flagging any posts.
We spend more time talking about whether we can talk about VB than we do talking about VB.
[Although "talking about" VB is now considered "promoting".]
Ironically the one who doesn't want us talking about VB keeps pushing the thread to the top with the obsessive posts condemning the product. 🤣😂
For the record, I have absolutely no problem with anyone talking about anything, and I didn't flag any posts or ask anyone to close any threads. I just want all your VB threads to be "fair and balanced."
From the last line of my first post in your closed thread:
"There you go @WQuarterFreddie -- I bit. Now let's discuss!!! 🤣🤣🤣"
TTT 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Fair and balanced, as long as you are against VB and dictate how people spend their money.
No. Fair and balanced to the extent that I, as well as others, provide a counterpoint to the cheerleading.
People can and do spend their money however they wish. It is, however, fascinating how few advocates on this forum are actual customers. Reading between the lines, that speaks volumes, given how much people like to bash the "haters."
He's never going to understand it or admit it. It's not worth even engaging on the subject.
Kudos to Freddie for making us aware of a new VB. It's interesting to see. Kudos to NJ for offering an opposing opinion on the VB. But stop criticizing each other "over and over"... this is a coin forum, talk about the coins and perhaps comparisons to other coin gimmicks. Why do you think these threads keep getting shut down? At least they are not selling counterfeit coins.
Honestly, I'm not sure why the threads get shut down. I have my suspicions, but there is bickering on other threads that aren't shut down.
When I get an email from NGC announcing their partner’s latest VB release, I know their involvement is more than just grade and box. I think the VB announcements would be better received ATS.
Now that we got that out of the way, let’s discuss CACG’s super-fast turn around times; unless that would also be rude to our hosts.
Thank you. The VB 4 thread is still alive so not all of them got shutdown. The rest got shutdown because at least one member flagged a comment for violating the forum rules which I understand.
Your point is duly noted. I have done my best to stay on topic.
and I have NJ on Ignore.
The only comments I have made are in response to another member's post however moving forward I will refrain from posting any comments that may be interpreted as criticism of NJ.😎
@NJCoin I don’t think you have any self awareness. You grind and grind your same points repeatedly whether about VB, Baltimore location, Nashville show promoters, etc. Most posters make their points and move on. This allows space for others to make their thoughts heard rather than being discouraged with persistent negativity.
Secondly, do you find any joy in this hobby? Again, I would hope that most who participate here have balance in their hobby as in life. If not, it shows.
It would be so refreshing for you to start a thread with a topic that conveys something that makes you excited to be here and that communicates the joy that the rest of us find in this hobby.
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
Have to agree with Catbert on this one. The back and forth you get up to in these threads is pretty toxic, you don't need to post 10 times per thread to argue.
