This one just came in. For as many Griffey cards as I have, this is my first graded refractor. One for the 90's Iconic Griffey cards PSA registry set.
edit: fixed the scuff on the back of the slab and redid the scans.

Some SGC submissions for the PC.
Wow that Sauer is one strong 6! Nice cards.
Agree on that Sauer. I might still like it 2 grades higher. Here are mine with the same flips.
I'll be planning to get PSA cards later in the month. But looks like Nov. 1 is SGC day.
Nice Crime Dog!!

Now THAT is a good mail day!!!!
I’m a fan of the 65s and the big rookie trophy.
pab1969…
Outstanding RCs from the late 60s…congrats!
Thank you. I broke the bank for my spending budget, but it was worth it.
These are tough to find and even tougher to find in good shape. I’m posting the team image on front in landscape format and the reverse in portraiture just for ease of viewing. This was a very nice find…

Graded this somewhat beat up Mays card so I could complete a graded Baseball Thrills set. (7 SGC, 2 PSA, and 1 CSG). May upgrade Banks and Mays at some point.
I got this at the Wilmington show today. It completes my collection of the last topps card of every hall of famer. This is also his only topps card.
Decided to go for a Harper card.
Is this the best rookie? Not including thousand dollar refractor type cards, that is.
Recently, I picked up a "Mr. Baseball" RC. I am a minority in saying that I like the floating heads, only used in 1962 and 1963 for Rookie cards and League Leader cards.
And for some reason, a whole bunch of years' Chicago Cubs team checklist cards.
EX:
ETA: I forgot about the 75 White Sox checklist, too.
.
And of course the Topps Heads Up
Dillard - Capilla - Tidrow
McGlothlen - Rojas - Mejeues - Krewko - Roake - Kingman - Martin - Lamp
Bittner - Blackwell - Lowery - Moore - Thompson - Reuschel - Ontiveras - Sutter
Foote - Dejesus - Vail - Almafitono - Kelleher - Clines - Buckner - Hernadez
sorry my spelling might be off a little...
Just like Bon Jovi, whoa, I’m halfway there!

This just arrived as a birthday gift. My first Ruth from during his playing days.

hey Kid4hof03,
Nice Rack...
Picked up 2 junk wax era icons from a couple of the many boxed sets from that time period.
.
I also picked up one of the 1982
Topps Tom Seaver All-Star variations.
For those that aren't familiar, this is a screenshot of the "error".
.
.
Notice at the end of the 5th line, the word tied is missing the "i", and spelled "t ed".
I have long already owned a correct version of this card, with the "i" present, but it was not designated one way or the other on the flip.
.
.
This card was good enough for the registry for my 1982 Topps base set.
.
.
But for whatever reason, PSA has decided that such a minute and inconsequential variation requires both versions for the 1982 Topps HOF set.
.
.
So, I recently purchased this card, and it arrived today:
.
.
I continue to scratch my head when it comes to the recognition of some of these "errors" or "print defects". Whatever your thoughts are on it, you have to agree that if the decision has been made that something like this - a "missing i" - requires both versions to complete a set, then they surely need to recognize that there are 2 versions of the 1975 Topps Robin Yount (full sized). One with either a "PD" or "puddle error" of blue print between his legs, and one without.
.
Picked up several of these at Costco today
A few things from the past couple of weeks
One more Killebrew.
picked this up for half the price I paid for one last year

Great time to buy.
Bad time to sell or try flips.
Nothing crazy, but straight to the PC
With the 20th anniversary of the curse breaking 2004 Red Sox approaching, I've picked up a few cards of some the key players that made it happen.
I usually don't invest, but if this guy has a couple more good years??????
Collecting the signed 83-84 Star set is a real challenge with 277 cards. I have been scouring Ebay, sending for private signings and TTM for over a year-- Still need about 100.
Here are some from the past couple weeks.
Oh wow that is unreal it's already been 20 years...just like how it's already been 20 years since the second biggest day of my life, May 10, 2003 (graduated from UK with BA in history, BA in political science...and it just so happens the Topps set that year has UK blue borders!!). The thing is though, once the Red Sox did get that 2004 World Series title, and especially after getting a few others, it's like they're now Evil Empire Lite! And you know what, ever since the Cubs won their 2016 championship I kinda wonder if they've actually lost some of their appeal as they're now no longer the "lovable losers".
