9/29 here on an 8 coin submission. I don't anticipate anything until November sometime.
I have been hearing that PCGS has been moving along pretty well.
Regardless they are worth the wait.

Looks like I have a ways to go to match some of you. Mine is a 3 coin Regular submission Received 9/28, still in Received.

It wasn’t all that long ago when the time spent in Received was one day, two at the most.

    8 coins Received 9/27.
I have slowed down hitting the reset button on my account page to every 5 minuets.

My 3-coin regular submission shows received on 9/29 and went into grading status on 10/10.

I make it a habit to call customer service on every monthly anniversary. I have a 4 coin voucher submission received 10/10. On 11/10 I will give them a call just to check in....and yes I check on the status every day.

I had a regular and an economy sub delivered to PCGS on 9/12.

They were back in my hands, graded, over a week ago.

My last one was like that. Received 9/7, back home to me 9/28………the same day my latest submission was received, where it remains.

I am going to prepare a 50 coin economy all Morgan's. Something to look forward to over the upcoming winter months.

I gatta add that I have some varieties and a couple doubled dies so I expect it to take a little more time.

I have an ebay order going on 5 days in transit, was due 2 days ago......does that count? It is a waiting game as well but the outcome could be far worse, lost/no coins! 😒

Talk about squeaky wheel effect. I wrote customer service to ask about the status on 10/18. Went from in Receiving 10/18 to Grades Available today, 10/23. Overall happy: a former PCGS58 is now PCGS63 and a former ANACS62 is now PCGS63. Two raw coins graded as expected. More on those once I get the Truviews.

My last order was pretty fast, especially considering I submitted at the ANA.

I thought PCGS did a great job.

My modern value foreign submission of 16 coins was received 9/6 and moved from received, to grading, today (10/24)

  • SanctionIISanctionII Posts: 12,252 ✭✭✭✭✭

A submission of coins I dropped off at the September Long Beach show was logged in as "Received" on 9-14-2023. Today that submission moved into "Grading" and the coins are "Being Imaged". I expect that this submission will be completed and returned to me sometime in November.

If so the turn around time of about 2 months will be much better than the turnaround times I experienced with multiple submissions I made to PCGS in 2022 (about 5 months).

I had an economy order with variety attributions received 9/21. It shipped yesterday, 10/27. Very quick turnaround and I’m very pleased with it!

My regular order received 9/12 just went to encapsulation yesterday.

My September Long Beach submission moved into Encapsulation yesterday. I am hoping that it will move into QA sometime next week with grades posting.

It is always fun to see a submission move quickly to the point where the grades post and the coins are shipped back to you.

I can’t squawk. Mine was in Received for 3 weeks starting 9/28. It’s been in Grading for the last 2+ weeks.

PCGS is moving much faster than they were the last few years. My last order of 19 coins took about two months to complete.

2 raw Morgans for economy grading, no gold shield or truView etc., received at PCGS 10/9, received by me this afternoon and very happy with the grades.

7 economy crossovers received by PCGS 10/9 went into encapsulation yesterday. Bravo PCGS, bravo.

PCGS entered the order on 10-3 and grades were posted today 11-6. I am a happy camper.

My order was delivered this morning.

A quick turnaround by PCGS. Kudos to PCGS for shaving down the turnaround time from what it was last year.

I don’t think it’s the norm but my last submission gave the grades at the same time it went to QA. That was just last week.
