This coin is a deviation from my normal coin purchasing habits, both in grade and type. I got it in hand yesterday and am really happy with the coin. It will be part of my type set though I won't be cracking it out of the slab since there is no spot in my 7070 for a large diameter bust dime. I am planning to add some of the other coins not represented in the 7070 in similar manner to this one.
Anyway, here is the coin. Please feel free to guess the grade, I am always interested to know what the forum members here think..
Thanks!

I would be real happy with that coin also!

Never owned a large size dime or quarter, but would like to sometime.

Thank you guys who guessed. I'll probably update this tomorrow morning with the grade. Maybe a little longer.

Very wholesome! Good looking coin!!
As for grade, VF 27.5674892, or maybe even a touch finer![;) ;)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)

Hey BagofNickels - cool pickup and I am a CBD nut. I believe the coin will grade VF-25/30. Here is a cool set - Put together a Capped Bust dime date set from 1809 to 1837 with coins looking like that. Wow cool would that be..........
Looks like a VF-20.
I'm at the higher end of VF, maybe 30-35.
VF35

And here is the reveal!
I'm slightly surprised that no one guessed the grade on the slab, that's a first for my GTG posts. Many people were close but this coin is actually graded as F15 and green stickered as well. The images and coin come from David Kahn who described it as a solid F with the eye appeal of a choice VF. The coin is also from Bill Bugert's large diameter capped bust dime die variety set like quite a few of the capped bust dimes DKRC is currently listing. I was not familiar with Mr. Bugert until recently as I don't collect much in the way of seated coinage but he obviously has a great eye and picks great coins. I absolutely love the surfaces on this one and feel privileged to own it. As always thanks to anyone who guessed. Now that you've seen the slab does anyone still think of it is a VF coin? I'm sure that DKRC's images only help the coin in this instance.
Oh yea it would! I'll just have to be sure to apologize to my wallet after...
I would have called it a VF-20 and figured it would be in a VF-30 holder.
I guess the heavy wear on the face and clasp area knocked it down.
