I opted for the PL Morgan

The seller had a DMPL but this PL was a point higher and has just as much if not more eye appeal than the DMPL.
These are typically flatly struck and I felt that this PL had a nice full strike especially for this year from the New Orleans mint.
It's going right into my collection. Sticker or not, lol.
Sorry for the mediocre images.

there should be a Trueview for this one as it has a gold shield. Looks attractive and that is what matters. post the trueview image

I honestly think the true view images of this coin do not do it justice. The mirrors look a little hazy in those photos but the cameo is pretty nice. As you can see from my images it's very reflective. Using a loop I can see where a little conservation may have bumped it to DMPL. However, I am happy to just keep it in the PL holder and not play with it. I know what the coin is and I like it!

It is an attractive coin- The trueview may not capture the coin in the light you find most favorable, but it still is an excellent example for the date

Very nice look. Definitely use your photos to show it off - true view isn't true.

I like the TV. It is showing the cameo of the devices and the coin is standing out more. The reverse on both sets of photos appears to have less mirror to me. And that is the way you want it - more PL or dmpl on the obverse of your PL designated coin.

Question: What am I seeing in the OP photo relative to the ring holding the coin? It appears it is not round or not fitting into the slot properly. Is it just a photo thing? Example: on the obverse 6o/c or by the date it appears the inner ring is pushed up against the coin or maybe not and a photo thing? (I see it to a little less extent in the other two areas)
No impact to the coin, just wondering.

I believe what your seeing is the background through the ring. The image was taken on a metal table.

Thanks. It is strange and sort of like when there is a close up photo and the letters that I know are raised appear to be incuse. This ring just looks like the gap between the prongs is not constant (shows more at date). Here it is with another slab of the same type from HA website. I just can't see it correctly. :/

It looks like they grabbed a gasket that was for a slightly smaller coin.
