PCGS Photo Album, give it a try
If you are already creating and posting PCGS Photo Albums, great. I would enjoy seeing what you have created (post links here).
If you were like me and thought building the Albums was time consuming, it is not (as long as you have sets built in the PCGS Set Registry and have photos). One button click populates your album with all your coins in the set. Slight zooming in or out can be done. Then you are all set to publish.
Below are three albums I created in about 15-20 mins from start to finish. I used screenshots to give you an idea of what the final product looks like. Very customizable and easy to link (two of them are in my signature line). As I race towards retirement I wanted to create Albums that I could reference like ones on the bookshelf. The nice thing is if you click on the coin the entire TrueView pops up on the screen. I am also going to look into having them professionally reproduced on quality stock. A big thank you to our host for creating things like this for the hobby.

Looks great, and WOW what a collection!
Thanks for taking a look. I hope the thread helps a few people see how quickly you can organize a collection for presentation purposes.

I use it for one of my sets. Heck if I can figure out how to do it, anyone can!
I had a photo album, then I retired the set, then for some reason PCGS deleted my album.

I felt the same way. Feel free to post the album. These are very cool.

I've mostly moved away from the official registry sets recently, I like the digital albums/showcases as a way to help organize different parts of my collection.

Recently some of the larger sets have not updated without multiple page refreshes, but maybe it is working again. Some of these US Mint Commemorative Medals are very scarce.

Better link below, but many missing again. Unfortunately, the big set album glitch is not fixed. If you refresh you get maybe 20 more to view each time, but it used to show them all at once.

The last few months the albums for several collectors failed to load the TrueViews. Photos would load some times but not other times. I have a couple of small (12 or fewer coins) sets where the albums do load all the photos, but on larger sets of 100 coins or more, over half of the photos were missing. Even manually uploading and saving the photos to the album wouldn’t work. I finally gave up. Happy yours is working…….maybe the problem has been fixed.

Maybe the size of the set really matters. All my sets are 12 coins or fewer and they load quickly. I would love to see any of the ones you had luck with.

Up until this year even the large albums worked perfectly. Still hoping the PCGS Registry people can fix this.

I’ve noticed the same thing in my Box of “20” in the last few months.
@PCGSPhoto - for world coins - the relative sizing is often incorrect. Is there a way to update the size of the coins? Thanks!

I haven't noticed issues with the pictures in my album. I have uploaded my own pics and don't use the Truviews, so maybe this is why?
Also, I was able to 'print' my album to a PDF file. This allows me to go into the PDF and add additional information about each coin such as year, grade, type, etc. as shown by the screenshots below.
A screenshot of 12 of the 36 pages of my Lincoln set. This is after having selecting Go from the Auto-fill TrueView option. The set is 100% filled with TrueViews but only a fraction are used. Going in and manually filling the empty slots only works while the image is uploaded. Once you go back and view the album the image is missing again.

1936 slot still empty

I also like making my own custom album pages out of Vintage album pages like this because they are infinitely customizable and because the coin images are easier to see without having to enlarge them. Also don’t have to worry about the glitches that we are experiencing with the ones in the Registry.
Here’s the templates, in case anybody wants them

This is great stuff everyone. I was hoping to see others collections and you came through. Those dimes are amazing. That type set is so cool and nice Lincolns too. The custom pages are very nice as well.

I was looking at the albums and here is some of what I found using a laptop (not the app).
Mr_Spud I was able to get your album to fully load by hitting the page refresh a couple times.
robec I could not come close to getting your album to fully load by hitting the refresh but I did gain a few more images the first couple of times I did a refresh. Then it seemed to bounce around a little by gain one lose two or something.
What I noticed is on the images that did not show up, it appears that the image link did load but then it does not complete the loading of the actual image. Below is more description of this.
First is just a screenshot of the page.
If I hover the mouse at about 12 o/c just inside the blank image, then I get an enlarged blank white square (as shown). The mouse was just above the left end of the page 19 in the image.
If I then right click I get options to do things with the linked file (but not the image) (as shown).
If I then select download linked file, then it downloads the true view file to my folder.
At bottom is what is shown for an image that is showing and the option to do things with the image and not just the linked file.
So again it appears the linked file is there but not completing the image loading. If that makes sense now.
@PCGSPhoto does this help?

I have tried the refresh technique countless times with the same results you experienced.
I am able to get the photos to appear when I click inside the empty coin slot. But their appearance lasts only as long as I stay in that mode. If I go to another coin slot the photo disappears.
I agree with you that there is something interfering with the linking. It’s a relatively new bug because a year ago it was fine.
Thank you for your help. I also want to apologize to @pcgscacgold for hijacking his thread meant for more positive responses.

You need to send the diameter of the coins to the registry support e-mail. I've done this several times for my sets containing world coins and they fix them promptly every time.

I'm hoping I like the high relief gold for that year. I also don't have a Kennedy half in the set yet, so in the unlikely case that the Paralympic Sports series starting that year has sled hockey on it, that'll get the spot. Also hoping I fill the 7 holes in the set back to 1481 by then.

I can't seem to figure it out. I can't get all of the pictures to populate. When I click on them, they are there. And the first several pages are full, but the last ones are empty. I suspect there is a bug or limitation with this. Or I'm too stupid to figure it out.
