Lots of Trueview Images Now Missing from my Registry Set Digital Albums That Were Previously There

Our Toned Lincoln, Wheat Cents Registry Set, #4 All-Time Finest, is now missing many Trueview images that were previously there. If I click Edit Album and go to missing coins where I'm sure there was a previous Trueview image, the individual coin obverse/reverse images show up, but without the PCGS branding or the cert numbers. I suspect this is some global (i.e. I'm not the only one affected) problem. PCGS can you fix these, for me and others (if any)? @PCGS_Moderator @PCGS_SocialMedia
Thank you and
Kind regards,
George

All of my digital sets are missing some true view pictures. PGCS told me that it was a software update glitch and should be resolved Sunday by 4, it wasn't. Sooner or later all will be back to normal but a quick note out to all explaining the problem would be appreciated.
Me too, I'm missing some TV in a lot of my sets

Those damn updates seem to fix one issue and create another.
This is one that goes back a-ways and seems to never die. Lol

None of my digital albums work at all now. Just get little dots at the top and when you do try to add the coin photo, it does not stay. It is totally broken. The auto fill also does not work. Took me a very long time to get them all adjusted the last few months to fit better and saved, and now they are 80% missing.

We have escalated this internally.
We will let you know when we hear back.
Thanks
Many coins still missing from my Showcases and Albums. The glitch is definitely not fixed yet.

PCGS_Moderator FYI
The galleries are fine. The albums and showcases are still messed up.

I had to reset my browser, clear the cache, and then refresh the page and wait about 15 seconds, and about 4-6 pages of the digital album would fill in. Then refresh the page and another 4-6 pages would show up, etc. Then I tried to save, but unfortunately it does not save the effort.
It needs to allow the loaded coins to save, so that it does not have to batch download only maybe 40 True Views at a time like is still happening. I suspect registry set digital albums with less than maybe 40 coins will seem like everything is fine, but large sets are still a problem.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
Well, the Toned Lincoln, Wheat Reverse (1909–1958) registry set has 140 coins, and we have worked a long time (and spent a great deal of money) to complete the set to the #4 All-Time Finest ranking. Until this problem cropped up I had Trueviews/the earlier Trueview-style images for about 130 of them. Now, basically everything after 1917 is gone from the digital album, which I also spent a good deal of time putting together.
I have to say that this is both infuriating and ironic given that the PCGS Registry Set awards are coming up and PCGS's continual hawking of the ability to purchase Trueview images with customers' submissions. So @PCGS_Moderator how about an update here? Better yet, a solution?
Thank you.

Goldminers, thank you! It works. You need to keep refreshing the album 3 or 4 times and all the coins fill in.

Why didnt I think of that??

I've tried refreshing my browser and flushing my cache numerous times. All the Lincoln cents show in the Gallery but there are still dozens missing from the digital album. I've also tried two different browsers, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. Random holes in the digital album regardless of how many times I refresh.
I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars building my set. One of the driving forces behind that was the introduction of the digital albums.
I used to look at my coins via the digital album more than my actual coins. Used to because now it has now been relegated into a near worthless visage of frustration. Out of 140 coins in the set, I counted fewer than 30 images that popped up just now.
It’s bad when you’re clientele us upset with you. It’s worse when they have not only give up, but they expect mediocrity.
I hope PCGS will resolve this problem. But really, I’ve given up. I’ve got four or five coins that I didn’t even put in my registry because the fun of seeing the digital update in the album is gone. Truth.

This issue even affects one of the albums up for an award. That means people will unlikely vote for it as one of the key points is images in the album.
My albums are also missing some images of coins. It’s totally random though as where there are duplicates in sets (for instance the Jubilee Head and the Jubilee Head with varieties sets) sometimes they show and sometimes they don’t!
It will be figured out in the end. As someone who keeps their coins in a safe deposit box I do like the display albums as it means I can see them whenever I want…

Yeah, I thought this was fixed but it is still broken. Some Trueviews load but many others do not.
I am about done with having to re-add pictures back into my albums.
My Kennedy registry sets require about a 1000 pics. Too much time needed to do so.
Looking for the “album delete button”.

Kennedys are my quest...
I had to "refresh" the page seven times before all 85 coins would show up in our showcase set.

Yeah, I fiddled and diddled with turning on the Add Images setting on my iPhone and then on the desktop Auto Add Trueview Images. Some would appear, some would not, some disappear. But many images including Trueviews, personal photos we have added in the past, and earlier "trueview style" images are simply gone.
@PCGS_Moderator it has been two months now, don't you think you owe your customers some actual updates or information? Not boilerplate?
@LincolnCentMan @robec1347
And after that most of them disappear again.
Since IT broke it, why can't they fix it?
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
I had many issues with the true view photos. I complained quite a lot and now the photos do come up, and if one or two or more are missing a simple refresh does bring them all up. If I didn't know better, and I might, the squeaky wheel seems to get the grease. It's hard to imagine that a simple refresh now works for me yet others may have to reinstall the photos.
It brings them up, but when others look, they are not there. They do not save, so it is just a big waste of time to even bother anymore. My set of nearly 200 medals only loads 10-20% at a time, and no one can see them all even after I get them aligned.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
If it isn't broken, then break it, seems to be the new goal. I still have top pop medals with no bonus gold colors that I asked about over a year ago.
I always get the answer, they are working on it, but the IT department is busy. LOL.
I am busy, too, but I keep my customers supported.

I’m sure this will get fixed sooner or later. The risk for PCGS is that collectors addicted to the registry will get frustrated, quit visiting for a while, and kick the addiction. Sort of like with my local Starbucks, which was always busy pre-pandemic, shut down for some number of months , and is now probably down 75% and going nowhere. People simply found new ways to spend their time, energy and money.

Wow, I'd seen this thread before but at the time it was OPP: "Other Peoples' Problems." Today I joined your ranks, my fellow Other People, at least for a half-hour or so. My capped bust half dime registry set had ZERO TrueViews accessible, whether looking at individual coins or at the entire registry. Same was true of my friend who has the #1 set (ergo, a BUNCH of TrueViews gone awol!)
And then, after starting this post, I had to turn away to take a call. When I got back, they were all working again. Twilight Zone stuff. If it happens again, I'll at least report it, so as to add my name to the list of constituents who would want this to be 100% up.

I looked at your set and it is amazing that you found that many varieties in such good shape and with great TrueView photos in the gallery. I did not see a digital album published for your set, but the #1 active set does have a digital album published and most all the coins are missing. The digital album problem has not been fixed at all.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
@Goldminers - thanks for the kind words! The ones I didn't find in attributed true-viewed holders, I have had to submit myself. So I'm a loyal PCG customer. In regard to the digital album - I thought that just happened by magic, and now I see it definitely does not. So I went ahead and created it and told it to auto-populate; seems like it got about 40% of the coins' images, but definitely not all. So I agree, not fixed yet. I looked at "Life After Cattle's" set and it shows a small number of coins on the early pages and then goes blank. Sigh.

Someone from PCGS named Justin Atkins e-mailed me personally to offer to help "my situation," like it isn't happening to many others as well. I wrote him back nicely telling him times I would be available for him to call.
He never called. What in the heck is wrong with PCGS?
Is anyone else upset that their digital albums are still missing Trueview images? This is a widespread problem, apparently.
Yes, but being upset doesn't change things. I suspect the IT department may have lost some key people the past several months as other IT type issues are also falling behind on resolution.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
@Goldminers I'm aware of that. But I also believe that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I was exploring some of the digital albums of other collectors and took a look at Dell Loy Hansen's sets. Even they are missing images. So sad. It seems like it's consistently the latter half of whatever album is being viewed. Elsewhere, I did write one of the few PCGS employees I know by name to see if he had any visibility into the broader issue.
Kind regards,
George
According to the Moderator's confirmation above this issue was noted May 30th, escalated internally June 7th, and again confirmed July 5th and they are still working on it. It brings coins into the album in batches with each refresh but does not save correctly when they all are finally downloaded. So only the first couple pages remain filled in, once you exit.
A lot of the issues that I have with my registry sets, started when they pushed IT efforts into smart phone app use. Some things work on my phone, but not on my computer. Apple IOS, Google Android or Chrome, and Microsoft browsing software are not very compatible by default, without complicated programming fixes.
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
@PCGS_Moderator Is this issue ever going to get fixed? I have now completed a second PCGS Registry Set of the Toned Lincolns, Wheat Reverse (1909–1958) sort, but I am afraid to retire either set for fear that the digital albums will always show those many gaping holes. Plus, it would just be a nice thing to do for all your customers. Any update beyond boilerplate "we are actively working on it"? Thank you.
