  • I love the Seated Libert Half Dollars. I only collect PCGS graded coins, no cleaned or damaged coins. My set of Everyman Seated Half Dollars is currently #10 on the Set Registry (link below). I have 103/113.

I believe these coins are so undervalued when you look at the low mintages, but more importantly the estimated survival numbers (most of these coins are under 1,000). I expect these to grow significantly in value. Besides that, they are truly beautiful coins with amazing history.

I'm also working to upgrade a few as I'm trying to build a set with most coins being VF20 and above.

You have a nice set. Our sets are somewhat similar in grade range. However, my goal was to fill a Dansco album from raw coins off eBay that I felt would straight grade. Eventually, I started adding TPG coins for tougher dates. Now, I'm going back and getting those early raw coins graded. In retrospect, it would have been a lot easier buying slabbed coins from the start, but I enjoyed having my coins in a Dansco.

Your set is quite nice. Both your 52s are nice. Same for 68s. I believe your 73-CC arrows is a rarer die marriage (arrows to center of digits and small cc mintmark). All CCs present.
It is interesting to see a set collector's efforts at a point near completion - what is left? I does not surprise me that the 73-S is among them.
    Great set. Congratulations.
