A beautiful looking set! You have reason to feel a real sense of accomplishment. Have you considered trying to fill it out with a few branch mints, or all of them even?

Thank you. Yes, I thought about it but decided against it, at least for now. The 10-coin date set is perfect for me, and the branch mint coins are much more costly in gem. I’m still keeping an eye out for upgrades, though.
Update: I sent all six of the CAC-approved coins to PCGS for Reconsideration. The coins arrived back to me this week.
The 1925 MS66 (pop 2273/559) successfully upgraded to an MS66+ (pop 322/237)! There’s a significant value jump to 67, so a 66+ CAC is a nice coin and gave me a little bump in my set ranking.

I will send her back to CAC for sticker reapplication in my next submission. The non-CAC coins are still at PCGS under the Regrade service—I’ll post those results when they’re back.
cc @winesteven as I know you were interested in the results
Sorry about the new style yellow tinted true view but congrats on a nice upgrade! 66+ and above is tough for the series. Fingers crossed for the regrades!

Haha I know the slight tint is killing the set vibe a little but I’ll take it for a 66+

If you email them they can change it back. Recently had to have it done for one of mine.

The top one (original) is probably my most accurate true view to how one of my coins looks in hand with no special lighting. And it was an early TV.
The bottom one is also accurate....if viewed through a lens of cat p***. Imaged roughly 6 weeks ago.

I did the same thing when I sent in my Morgan set (those with cac - Recon and those without cac - Regrade). In the end I thought to myself I should have sent them all for regrade. First when I sold they all went to cac and second I did twice as good on the upgrades per coin on the non-cac regrades as I did with the cac reconsiderations but this was several years ago.
I kind of like the TV with the little bit of tint. However, if the coin does not look like that, then agree kind of an ugh. As noted above if you contact pcgs photography (email) they can often replace the default TV with the older/previous one. I have done it twice over the years.

That’s a high risk strategy that I probably wouldn’t take unless I was pretty sure of getting a few big upgrades. It would be painful for them all to come back at the same grade, and then one or more fails to sticker at CAC under the new cert #. If several of my Regrades come back higher, perhaps I’ll be more open to it.

I still like the '22 you had in 65+ better, but then I am being biased.
Great set, good job, I like these a lot. Congrats!
Thanks! Yeah, if the higher graded '22 didn't bean, I probably would have kept the 65+. I think that one is just as nice, and maybe nicer. Whoever owns it now is very lucky

I understand your view and was not trying to suggest to do it but just remembering. Do what you are comfortable with. As I noted I did what you are doing and split them up. But when I saw your post it reminded me of my submission and with hind site thinking I should have done them all regrade (might have had a half dozen or so more upgrades loosely based on the numbers).
Initially I was going to do them all reconsideration because I wanted to keep the set together as this had had good results for others. I discussed with a dealer friend who was submitting them for me at the pcgs LV show since they had a contracted discount rate. Also at that time the regrade did not have the grade guarantee premium on upgrades. Asked the pcgs rep if they could keep the two submission back to back (can't go together if two invoices). They said yes. I guess they kept them until the end of the show because I did get them back together but didn't get them back until about noon Saturday (I was one of a few non-pcgs employees there) and I had a late afternoon flight. Didn't want them mailing the Morgan set. But the results were far beyond anything I was thinking. And hence the hind site and I should have done all regrade.
If you do ever have a previous cac in a different slab (crossover) or new cert number, when sending to cac I have included the previous cac information. I think it helps and have not had one not get the cac back if it was a plus upgrade. But this is a very small sampling. Also a cac grader at a show told me that they do look at all of them including the re-stickers because on a rare occasion there can be some damage (scratch...) when removing, handling and slabbing. Then of course there are reports of this cac first time but not the next (or vice versa). So yes it can go bad (or good).

A HUGE congratulations my coin brother 👍👌
Top notch!! I can see the time, effort and quality you put into that set. That's got to be a great feeling! 👍🏻 👍🏻

That is one awesome looking set. I would be very proud to own that set. My favorite is the 1928 as she looks hammered.
Congratulations on putting together such an amazing set and adding a few CAC's to it.

That's a good feeling - congrats!
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
Nicely done!! Congrats.
