Half Cent, Large Cent, Seated Half Dime - Opinion on information at the NNP links
On the NNP I saw these collections of half cents, large cents and seated half dimes. I thought they might be something to include in the Resources thread but since these are not in my realm of collecting I thought I would see what the forum thinks (and particularly if it is a series you are involved with) before suggesting to AspieRocco to add. No sense adding blah stuff.
Each link has photos of each coin variety and seem fairly complete (but I did no checking and again don't know the series). Clicking on a photo there is an enlarged photo with limited description of the variety (the half cents have a full auction description that might have some variety information and the half dimes have some descriptive notes). But it is mainly coin and variety number and photo.
What do you think? Worth it or skip it?
If a worth it, then any suggestions on the title I included with the links below.

The Steve Crain collection is the definitive Liberty Seated die variety set.
Agree. And the Missouri Cabinet Collection and Walter Husak Collection of Early Large Cents are definitive also.
An authorized PCGS dealer, and a contributor to the Red Book.
The "Missouri Cabinet" collection was the greatest half cent collection ever assembled in my opinion. It contained some of the finest known in examples from the best to third or fourth best for some varieties. The late Jim McGuigan had the best PCGS registry set, but the "Missouri Cabinet" was better.
Thanks for the input.
When I saw the pictorial variety sets on NNP, I had two thoughts that I have dealt with. A bust half Overton set I would think much more use for as many who collect bust halves also do a little Overton checking. Then for Morgan dollar VAM not so much as a vast majority of Morgans are sold without consideration of the VAM (yes there are some that bring a premium but most seem to be collectors of the Morgan date I believe). So was not sure how the early cents and half dimes were viewed from the collectors. Appears these might be good links to include as some might use for variety or viewing of a significant set of the series.

In case anyone reading this isn't aware of it. Steve Crain is our very own, late @MrHalfDime
