@Jesbroken told me that shipping cost fifty dollars. I will pay the last shipping to send it to Jameson. So, @seanq , you have it now.
If @JohnThePainter and @WQuarterFreddie want to receive the folder, and it’s expensive shipping costs, we contine as planned.
If no one wants to get it after Sean, then Sean holds it, and waits for the remaining coins, until the end. Then he mails it on my dime.
If John or Freddie want to receive it then they will have the finishing duties.
Or, send it to me, I will await the last coins and mail it off.
From what you guys tell me in the PMs we have available all of the coins remaining to add.
The folder will have a letter of explanation, you all can add a letter to Jameson if you wish.
At the very beginning some wise man posted that shipping would be prohibitive.
We may need to look at what the claimed value is as we go. That seems to be what is causing the high shipping cost. If it was lost in shipping what would a payment even do? Just a thought.
When the few remaining are filled, let me know and
I will send out Book 2. Participants for Book2 are

I will add others as I receive them. If @pcgscacgold could

jesb said that the insurance was two dollars. At this point even signature required is worth the extra. Let me know privately if you remaining folk have concerns about the costs of shipping.
That's interesting @Fraz Last month I shipped a $3000 package and it added over $30 to the cost. I was thinking the same might have happened here but maybe not if only $2.
Shipping cost will be very dependent on how you insure it...
If insuring for a lot(I think the crossover is somewhere around $1500?), then registered mail will actually be cheaper to ship. Don't add priority to registered since it's slow no matter what.
Do what you are comfortable doing as far as insuring. When I shipped it I just used the built in $100 insurance and added signature confirmation. Cost was about $14.
@Fraz what exactly was $2. When I shipped the package to DCW it was $38 insurance and $10+ shipping with $2k coverage. As said previously, not sure what the P.O. would honor as value, but from photos available I would hope a reasonable value could be arrived. Just an opinion.
As to book 2, while BU coins would be readily available, I would hope some sort of attempt of color would be attempted. Again, my opinion only.
Wonderful, wonderful comemmorative for Jz. Proud to be involved.

As someone stated earlier, the 55-S may be an issue, so I have a 55-S in ms64 red PCGS holder that I bought for book 2. I ( like a lot of us ) have a couple thousand raw wheats in tubes, broken down by date so adding color is no problem. I agree, lets see some color. If shipping costs is a concern to some, move me down the list where the shipping costs will be higher. No problem for me. I LOVE THIS PROJECT !!! Shout out to Fraz for this wonderful idea.
I have the book in hand now, it arrived about an hour ago. Looks like the postage to me was $28.75. I have no problem holding and adding the last few coins to it, I will of course also update the note with the names of those donating the coins. I will not get to my contribution until the weekend, so there is time to settle on the logistics.

Ditto on the colors.

Sean, if you don't mind I would appreciate the opportunity to take the folder on another road trip. Fraz suggested I send you a PM to discuss this with you.😉
My coins are now in the book. First I added this 1938-S to fill an empty hole:
Then I replaced a couple of coins with clips, the 1919 that was in there was kind of corroded so I thought it was a good candidate, and I had a nice 1937 as well:
Finally, I know it is a tradition to take a photo of the album itself, I was tempted to take it for a ride on the Meritt Parkway but most of our leaves are down or brown, so instead I set this up to represent autumn in New England:
The album will be on its way to the next contributor later this week.

@WQuarterFreddie wraps it up. If anyone wants to jump on tell him. I can send some of the last.
This game causes me to look through the mongrel hoard. I started filling old Whitman folders with woodgrain color, another one barn red, another toned, and another real dark— result of looking through thousands of cents as I sort them. I lack colors and years. A place to put the all-but-worthless dregs.
If any of you are interested in swapping cents or have ideas for topical sorting let this be the seed of a thread somewhere.
Anyone in the forum can add a written note to the folder if you so feel moved to. WQF can add it.

I will be taking the folder on another day trip that I feel everyone will like once they see the pics!😎
Let me know when we want to start Book 2. I've got the
book with my contributions. I can send it out as early as Wed. 8th.
I will be mailing it @pcgscacgold.

Earlier today (11/8) I mailed Book 2 to @pcgscacgold . Messaged him the
Tracking Number. If the team wants to start a new thread for this Book 2
let me know. If I remember correctly, there are 3 blank spots. I think two
of them should go to the Small Dates from 1960. The other could show
the the reverse with the Lincoln Memorial building. My guesses. @Tom147
Will be placing a high grade 1955-S into its spot. Hopefully we can get several
to sign up for this fun project. Let me know and I will add your name to the

Too bad the timing was not perfect. Two weeks ago the album could have traveled with me to Nashville and the IMEX show. A month from now it could have traveled to the Christmas Market in Chicago. I will figure out some place to take it.

Quick update. Sean sent me the folder and it arrived safely on Monday. I have been so busy that I haven't even opened the folder yet and with the short week for Thanksgiving I will most likely not have the time to open it until next weekend.
I will reach out to Fraz when I do to coordinate filling the remaining holes.
Fear not! I will have the completed folder ready, take it on a road trip and post the pics by 1st week of December. My goal is to have it in the hands of James's family in time for Christmas. 🎅🎅🎅
Ok. So today I FINALLY had free time to open the folder. The weather has warmed up here and I am taking the folder on a road trip. Pics to follow.
Fraz contributed the DC sticker which I added today. This weekend I will work on filling the remainder of the album. If unsuccessful I will reach out for others to help. Rock on Lincoln!
@Fraz, if you are interested, I'd be happy to image the entire folder and do some sort of composite shots for the group. Just send it to me when we're all done and I can take care of that.

I need a maximum of three days to image these, more than likely I can have it in and out in 24 hours. Editing can be done without the coins. Whether or not the USPS can get it there in time is up in the air. To be safe, I’d say I’d need it by the 15th if I’m sending it Priority mail and directly to James.
