So Adam is a coin guy, I mean who works for free at the mint after retirement?

Very knowledgeable about coins and could've wrote about the conception of the 1793 SP that got away, otherwise clearly it would've been in his possession, whereas I don't think George would've broadcasted the specs, it does leave Henry but to the one set up a religion kinda thing where you do what's right just because it's right,, would've done the leaking of said info. Jmo

So the one who kept our coins :) worked for free, gee I wonder if it was for the free coinage of those years, he worked so much that peale had to get an assistant to make up for the loss of Adam.

If those were all my choices for who leaked the specs of a 1793 SP coin, I'd be thinking Adam, in no way am I talking bad about Adam, I would've done the same thing and taken waste bucket coins and any notes.

Just my opinion

I didn't even mention my coin, in fact all I did was repeat Walter breens book

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

Well and read about Adam on wiki :)

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

I mean insider notes Walter breen must've gotten

Ok dang sorry my bad, I'll stop so research I have invested and it's ongoing, for the coin I have not been able to say anything about, I mean 100% fake or not.

    I should do a poll:

Say anyone of you coin collectors, if you had my coin and you experienced everything I have,,, to where you have no proof of it is or it isn't,

    Would you all give up?

    Thanks all

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

There I mentioned it, sorry all

Also Adam Eckfeldt built the first screw press for the new facility in 1792, the same year that the Mint Act of 1792 was passed by Congress authorizing a mint, and cut the obverse die for the experimental Birch cent of that year.[3] He also built other machinery for the Mint, and helped superintend the early coining.[1][6]

I'd like to point out that on the coin press that Adam invented looked like it could leave ejection marks. Along with his gold retirement coin presented to him 1839.

To me it is, since well the first engraver somehow got the boot from history, well then technically it is :) in my opinion.

Nope all this is leading to how something like mine could've been created and written about.

Imagine Washington getting the best coin from his engraver in front of Jefferson. Priceless 😁

Also none of this means I'm right or anyone is wrong, just pointing out the obvious.

Ok so no comments on the super old hand press, just in my opinion looking at it I can see universal weakness along with this changes the book narrative.

So Adam then turns in everything eventually forming the first US mint cabinet which then led to the Smithsonian, oops sounds like someone didn't do the due diligence needed for cancelling, in my opinion that's a big fat fail on canceling Adam.

Yes I'd probably do the same if I had been hard at work making an image for myself, I came in and was saying what it was not asking to the point you all had to ask me questions after giving your opinions.

One in a gazillion chances, I mean it was out there for many years, written about for a reason.

I come along and I'm like hey all :) this stuff is super easy for me to see, prove it the industry replied and I accepted the challenge just not only for me but all collectors everywhere.

For at that time it was all about the marks and the impossible and I'm hip the story is a wild one.

I don't consider myself the best at anything tho I strive to be in everything I'm engaged on, this has put me against the best and in a way thrusted me into a higher level of expertise just I'm still the same.

It would totally make sense they are actively trying to cancel me, I mean just look at who they have already.

I'm just barely breaking the ice around certain subjects and therefore I must deserve it, for I was told NO and have not listened and proceeded.
    Rubber room time lol 😂😆

Funny thing is I kinda agree, I mean look at the stuff, just look at it lol 😂 one flew over the cuckoo's nest or borderline, I can only imagine what was said to the first person before me on this coin.

This is what happens when decide to cancel history for next thing we know, with a rebel yell I'm crying MORE MORE MORE.

As my intelligence gets even better and yes lol I get older the mission I was on outside of this starts to fade, for I'm already super late.

Anyways I'm rambling and time marches on.

    Thanks all

(Way more than) enough is enough.

I also made a flag and will for others who disrespect and target me for a post about Adam Eckfeldt

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

I mean can't defend Rogers book so flag me right lol

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

Hmm so to repeat another's book versus the current is mentioning my coin?

    I'm sorry I must've missed it

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

Let's defend the history changing, I want to hear the good reasons, please and thanks

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

Actually blocking others from helping and referring to this coin on all my posts hmm technically that sounds like they are using this one coin to do it, do you have any other explanation?

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

Why don't you all care about coins that were written about but never found yet?

I mean it sounds like Adam wrote it himself.
    Thanks

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

I must answer about the grading which I do have the receipt for and have marked it for walkthrough.

To then notice my grades received reflected safe grading or as you put it, express grading which they were calling show standard where I could've graded each coin at half the cost, who is right?
I ordered the more expensive one and received the lesser and was not told walkthrough was unavailable.

    Does that sound honorable?

The reason it is disrespect is cause you all mention a coin that I have shown in the past and say I'm doing it here, well that is slander
I mean in my outlook on this quick easy cancel answer which he probably has it pre saved, lol guessing I don't know

This thread is too prove ejection marks and the use of a hub and die assembly were in use just like a video explained.

Thanks to the invention from Adam Eckfeldt.

I'm curious how can one change history and everyone is letting them?
And don't even call him out on it

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

    Maybe @RWB can explain,
    Thanks all

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

I hear a bunch of you all saying counterfeit, just as soon as I mention facts about our history.

Why won't you mention my facts and how they go hand in hand with all coins back in 1793?

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

Maps, I'd try to help you but if you don't know about our first coins, then one can easily write a book and tell you how they are made, From Mine to Mint I think is the latest one.

Whereas our ancestors had Walter Breens and they do not match

Ps mods I am kinda guilty for I did lead in a direction in a couple of sentences just as an example, I'm sorry for that and in no way is this thread about my 1793 coin

If you all think not giving Adam any credit for what he has accomplished because of one coin he wrote about and shared is correct, please by all means chime in

That's what this thread is about well and his career and gold medal they gave him in 1839.

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

That was a good one fraz :)
I'm just going with facts, I'm sure it was a great horse

Why doesn't anyone mention the fact of today is you all are saying how coins were made back then and discrediting Adam who was the maker of said coins amongst others who have also made notes, whereas Adam was alive then?

The most crazy thing about this topic, is since I'm bringing up facts that go against the standard, I've been jumped about my W quarters grading experience and the supposed counterfeit coin.

May I ask why I am the topic and not my actual thread topic?

Let me guess, my questions are not valid?
I mean say something give any reason, say you don't like me if that's your reasoning, you don't have to make up it's about a coin or anything or my paranoia lol
    Thanks
Well and I do want to ask
What gives anyone of today's time the right to rewrite history for any reason whatsoever?

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭
    edited July 31, 2023 7:03PM

Well at least that's an answer, lol
So if you study history, you're a conspiracy person?
On the judging ones mental health, may I ask you how a coin led to mental health questions?
Is it because I disagree and can tell nobody is even looking out not being bias, in my opinion?

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

What have I mentioned that is a conspiracy?

If you are mentioning my grading venture, not being told something is unavailable versus being told, the reasons behind it hmmm maybe I guess but if I said that, it would in fact be speculation

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭
    edited July 31, 2023 7:28PM

Ok yes, I have speculated why he wrote such great notes and I speculated the why, "the one that got away" so I have speculations like accusations but not accusations for in not accusing anyone of anything, besides changing history, which has been done so that is not an accusation.

All I am doing is highlighting the story of Adam's life and I've made references of two books and the Smithsonian.

I would say I'm normal just is anyone normal?

I am not on any meds or belong in a psych ward.

I am super smart and can find information super easy, I mean I think I'm pretty smart :) and I apply what I read

  • jayPemjayPem Posts: 4,081 ✭✭✭✭✭

I think it would be best if folks would refrain from derogatory comments pertaining to anyone's mental health.
    Not appropriate.

    LMFAO may I ask whom?

I mean this is where it gets good

Op needs help for he is not buying the line we are selling lol.

Hmmm yes I think we should add professionals

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

Actually it is slandering of ones character and is illegal.

Please I'd like to nip this in the ****

    Over a coin, priceless

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

You and these professionals are making accusations of or based on my posts, I think anyone with any legal qualities could handle a case like this.
    Jmo

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

The kicker is, this thread is about Adam and information about his life, not found in any coin book.

    Thanks

  • SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

So this is an honest question,

These are the biggest attacks I've ever gotten over my threads/posts, is this because I'm putting up good info making it harder to dispute?
