I think I'm having it or heat exhaustion. I was out trimming the hedges . Bad idea. Its too blankety blank HOT outside. Feeling a bit better now inside with some half trimmed funny looking hedges, but they will have to wait.

Post a coin thats scorching hot like the sun.

It's best to not do yard work in the high heat. But if you insist on doing it, my lawn could use a mowing. ;)

I don't have any burning coins handy, but I'm sure some toned beauties will appear soon.

Be careful out there, doesn't take much with physical exertion. If I spend 15 minutes in sun without sunscreen my face will turn glowing red. Hard to capture the true color on coin.

I just went up to go dig some dirt I am moving around to make room for some new (more) bonsai selves.

Got the gloves on and looked at the project, felt the heat of the sun, took the gloves off and now back to coin work in the office. Maybe this afternoon.

Super hot weather is not the time for outdoor work.... Stay inside, plan your tasks for cooler weather, study coins, inside chores. Cheers, RickO

You're a wimp, you live in Massachusetts. Hot is Florida with high humidity, where your clothes are soaked in a few minutes. Suck it up buttercup and get outside...

@coinbuf anything over 75 degrees here is hot. 50 or 60 degrees is preferable.

Current temperature here in cental Florida near Orlando is 87. Also, what is this "winter" that you speak of? ;)

@coinbuf I stopped trimming the hedges and went inside in the AC and took a 2 hour snooze. That helped.

Maybe just in case the state shuts down after it snows an inch. ;)

I've never seen snow in central Florida. :D
I remember a couple of years ago when it was reported that every state had snow on the ground with the exception of Florida.

I was in Georgia in 1985/86 and it snowed about 1/2 inch and it was the creepiest thing. I was the only person out. Every business was closed. There were no tire tracks in the snow except for mine. There was nobody out walking. It was like one of those end of the world movies. Here in a Blizzard people are out walking, driving and everything is open.

Good to hear you worked through it.

Wow. Just got back in from a walk and things have definitely changed this week. Was previously a little cooler than normal. Now a little hotter but the humidity is also up. Three different locations are showing for the current heat index 113, 107 and 109.
Hmmm... maybe I should go walking in the morning. :)

I felt okay but definitely feeling a little beat down. Did a little extra at 4.5 miles but a little slower as it took one hour twenty. Gatorade sure was good when I got in. This is definitely tougher than it used to be years (and years) ago. Ah, I was also in hiking shape those years (and years) ago. Maybe I can get back to that but then maybe not. I still can reminisce.

This one is 3 photos stitched together. I though not bad for a snap-o'matic type (still the same one I use today at 20+ years old) and cheap (got it free) early 2000's program.
Oh I learned you need to keep the camera very level to avoid the roundoff on the ends.
