I'm always a little Leary about good/great BIN deals close to a holiday.
Even so I sometimes take a gamble and throw money at something.
Early this morning I got an email notification of a new listing...
I picked this up (well if it's not a scam) won't know until it's delivered in mid August IF it shows up at all...
$0.25 on the retail dollar might be worthy of a steal of a deal.
We all make mistakes.
I once picked up a Bendix helicopter helmet at an antique shop that was missing the visor and comm equipment but was in its original issue bag with the pilots patch and his name written inside.
This was early 2000’s and I tried to find the guy’s family. Found a website from the same flight group that was looking for a reunion or to find out who was still alive and someone who said he was the pilots son had posted a year earlier and wanted to know if anyone there had known his dad. Vietnam era guys.
I tried everything I could to reach him and none of the other members of the group ever commented back.
I sold it on eBay for about 90 bucks more than I had listed it for a year later.
Free shipping but forgot to list it as “Domestic shipping only.”
Buyer wound up being in the UK.
Between listening and the cost to ship I lost money but when you make a mistake you’ve gotta do the right thing.
Wish I could have sent this to its proper home.

It’s just the minimum bid price - doesn’t mean it will sell for that, good grief!
I have some great ocean property in Kansas - cheap too!
Isn’t that dime dated 1876? Seems like it’s worth about the $10 paid
I believe its a 76 but I don’t think you are going to find very many for $10. Double and triple for less quality.
I’ve been watching eBay for 2 years. Thanks 🙏

Nice grab.

Kennedys are my quest...
$6.65 is a pretty good rip for a half roll of 90% silver quarters.

Relisted as an auction. Looks like the seller goofed the 1st time with a $1.00 buy it now

That had to be an error listing.... BIN less than actual cash value. Cheers, RickO

Nice! I recently picked up an XF - ish 13-D Type 2 listed as a Type 1.

Sigh… !!
I’ll think it’s the steal of the year so far in 2023; congrats!
It did sell though on Jun 20th for $60...
