Ebay fake and seller refuses to listen

Please report. I messaged him a week ago to take to a coin shop as it was not real. He said he did.

    Yes, when you spot counterfeits on eBay or anywhere else, it’s a good idea to post the picture if you can. The more photos we get out there for collectors to see the better. Once the “orange hoodie” is up on eBay, it’s too late.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals.     how do you figure it looks like an1878 cc what makes you say its counterfiet

    i know the 1878 has the caved inchest on the eagle but the example in coinfacts doesnt look to have the caved inchest either unless its super obvious i cant tell there counterfiets

    tho the cc looks off seems to straight the example in coin facts seems to run a little down hill in other words ihnfi!!!

    And maybe the sellers eBay Name for when the item gets pulled.
    Someone could still compile a list of questionable sellers.

    Yes, this is the wrong reverse. It 's the reverse of 1879 which was never used in Carson in 1878.
