This is the first certified mated pair of a broken off clamshell / lamination of a Kennedy Half Dollar that I have seen and thought it was pretty cool.
Post an interesting Kennedy Half Dollar error coin.

One of the coolest errors I've seen, and even better that it's in separate slabs.
Great detached partial clad layer err! It has a great size and positioning!
Of note, my understanding is that this isn't technically a "mated pair" as a mated pair is defined as two different items that were struck together, not a single item that split into two pieces.

I guess it doesn't really matter but the TrueViews pictures stink compared to @ctf_error_coins pictures.
