I love seeing the Bryce Harper posts you put up. As a lifelong Phillies fan, he is the most fun to watch since the Howard/Utley/Rollins days in their prime.

I almost never purchase a card, even if slabbed, unless it's in person. Recall this card from my early childhood likley having pulled it from either a box of yodels or ring dings.
I do wonder if this would still be a PSA10 today? Wish centering was nicer but given the low pop it could be a long time before I see another so I went after it.
Not sure why the flip scans so poorly it's does not look like that in reality
P.S. The 1982 set was the last before Drakes/Topps began offerings mail away sets. 1981's in PSA10 are easy with their white borders, but the yellow border on the 1982's makes them a challenge - glad demand is very low on these oddball cards.
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
Picked up 3 more fresh looking 1963 Post cards this morning. What I didn't realize was that one of the 18 Post cards I picked up as a group and shared a couple weeks ago was actually a short print 1963 Jello (#135 Marty Keough) card.
Several pickups so far this June, including four Rose cards freshly graded by PSA and back in my hands. (Iβm sneaking in the 1979 Topps PSA 8 Rose even though it was a May purchase.) The Rose run is now continuous from 1965 to 1981. Family pic included.

Well done! I enjoy player runs...nicely centered examples there.

Gibby is my favorite all-time pitcher, and I've been chasing one of these for years. Finally took the plunge and found one at a decent price for the grade. Wish the centering was better, but now my favorite in my collection.

Picked up the patch card on the left last week for $12 + $4 shipping. The one on the right was also $12 a few months ago.
In today's age of "this patch is not from any specific player or event", actual numbered, game worn patches of a HOF'er are a nice addition to my collection.

Those are so awesome and cool. Great pick ups.
I don't collect a lot of football, but LOVE all the sets from the 70s. They all look so good and the designs are so cool. Baseball feels so bland comparatively.

I wonder why the "C" of cardinal had a straight line instead of a curve like the "s". I've always enjoyed the way they wrote the team names. Reminds me of Vegas signs years ago.

Yeah im so happy with them. Have a friend getting out of the hobby so I bought up a lot of what I didn't have. As you can tell we are both HUGE Steelers collectors. Getting close to finishing up my run of 1950 - 1989 PSA Steelers cards. Only need about 40 or 50 more.
Well, thereβs always some bittersweet to go with the jubilation but I am proud to say that I was able to complete one of the tougher sets around: 1946 Propagandas Montiel Los Reyes Del Deporte. I was able to acquire 180 unique cards from a set with a clear checklist of 180 different cards. While I am still possibly shy one card, I will worry about βcard 181β (actually Oswald Bluege) when and if one finally surfaces. I donβt know how many βcompleteβ sets are out there but certain cards are simply a real challenge to find because of overall scarcity. In addition, anyone starting the set today will find that this set features some cards that have now become increasingly and incredibly expensive to acquire, which will only add to the challenge. These four arrived yesterday and were scanned just now, featuring one recognizable name for fans of pre war ball.

Very nice card.
Back in the late 80s, I was stationed in St Louis and went with a friend to the Mercedes dealership with him; Bob Gibson pulled in right behind us with a "classic" Merc - he was standing next to us - license plate "Gibson" - didn't want to bother him for an auto - just said: "nice car" He returned "Thanx!" Wish there was more to the story.

The centering on 93TT is pretty abysmal.. It took many months to find a centered 9 and after some back and forth to get the deal done, here is Todd's Rookie card.. 5x All Star, 3x Gold Glove, 4x Silver Slugger, Batting Champ, Hank Aaron Award, HOF? I would think so, after he was at 72.2% in his most recent appearance. 5 more times to go on the ballot if needed.
He was also an impressive pitcher (and hitter) in college. 193 innings with a 2.24 ERA, had 47 consecutive scoreless innings.
