Buffalo Nickel Guys 1926-S or 1928-S ?

djmdjm Posts: 1,563 ✭✭✭✭✭

I found this Buffalo Nickel, I think it is a 1926-S. I am wondering what you guys think. The pictures aren't the best as they were taken on my cell phone. The coin isn't the best either.

    1926S
The third picture down clearly shows a 6.

I say 26 S but in that condition there is not much difference in value.

The coin is a 1926S.... upper portion of 6 is clearly different than an 8.... Cheers, RickO

A rough 26-S but a lot of the "26" still shows, so worth a few bucks as a hole filler.

Throw it on ebay, you would probably get $8 to $10

It appears to be a 26-S. For what it's worth, upright images in the post would make it easier to judge.
