I'll start this and hopefully all will chip in. My raw HK SCD's weight by HK number.I've got quite a few, but will have to search them from the safe. Here are a few. If this catches on, I will try to keep them in HK numerical order. Hope this helps.
Jim

@jesbroken... Hi Jim, is it your intention to build a reference resource for SCD weights? That would be quite the project. While I am not a collector of them, I can see it would be a great resource for those that do collect them. Good luck, Cheers, RickO

In the link below I did a search on so called dollars. There are 5 pages. Some have HK numbers but some do not. Then some have weights and others do not. On the ones that I clicked on if the weight is not shown in the text of these summary pages then it is also not shown in the individual item page. Don't know if this helps or not since I am not a so called dollar type.

That was my intent, although not exact with pocket, shelf, or circ wear it will be close and far better than nothing.

One thing to remember is that weights can be more variable with medals than compared to coins, I have some records w assay medal weights (unfortunately not update for a while now), and amongst a given year/variety/metal, there can be large differences.

For example, 1869 AC-5 in silver, among others, one weights 22.38 grams, and another 17.93 grams
the same medal in aluminum, I've recorded one at 4.37 grams, and another at 5.96 g

    Others have narrower ranges
1870 in copper or bronze, lowest is 21.3 g and highest is 22.01 g
