Another for the type set. I hope the fuzz string is on the holder and not in it.

Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
Nice coin, but when in a holder it is hard to tell between holder scratches and coin scratches. I'll gtg as MS64 also.

I had to look at it on my monitor, as I couldn't tell what's what on my iPhone.
AU58-ish, I don't think it's MS, but perhaps squeaked into a low MS holder.
Hard to tell from photo, I'll guess MS 63
I'll go with MS64.

Where are you seeing wear, Greg? My eyes have let me down if so. Not really amazing though, now that I think about it. lol

Regardless of the numerical grade that's a decent looking coin. Very nice strike with original surfaces. I am glad you picked one of these up for yourself. The harlines look like they are from a slab.
Congratulations Shane
I've been searching for what i feel are "undergraded" for the slab coins. I won't know for sure until they are in hand. This is from a different seller than the peace dollar i just bought.
Jaws will drop when i reveal this one is in a G06 holder!

First blush I was also at 58. Nice selection.
That's a couple high AU's recently. Did you join the ChAU club? Lot's of us hang out here.![;) ;)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)

I was going to say 55-58, as I clearly saw wear but I did not want to offend you, you seem like a nice guy
.
So with all the 63-65 guesses, I stayed silent.
Nice eye, Greg.

No worries, call it like you see it.
I'm having fun picking up these "cheap" coins. $20-$50 a pop.
I'm learning alot by doing so. Goal is to step it up in a year or so and start putting some real collectibles together. I'm just feeling out what i like right now.
Problem is, it seems to be everything. Lol

Noted, good luck.
For the record, surely you know you did good with this one example.
The fact that most wag'd it mid MS is cool, must have made your skin tingle as the guesses were coming in.
Looks better than AU58!
Nice job
@Shane6596... Excellent year for coins and people....![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)

I realize that it’s much easier to comment after the grade has been revealed. However, there looks to be light wear on Liberty’s breasts, as well as on the eagle’s head, breast, legs and part of its right-facing wing.

Once in hand i will look it over. I'm sure it's close to the assigned grade. I'm finding pics can be deceiving and tough to grade from. I hear you say that about proof coins being almost impossible to grade from pics.
I will check all the areas you pointed out and give an update.
Thanks @MFeld

I am embarrassed that I missed the obvious rub on Liberty's breast and on the eagle's breast. Since an MS 65 only costs about $100; I didn't figure that you would buy this issue in 58. So, I am a victim of conformity bias. I am not in bad company, however, as JBN was also fooled. This coin is about as close to MS as you can get without actually being there.

That is a very nice AU58 WLH.... It is an interesting part of the hobby, how some coins, at the same grade, look so much better than others. Probably why JA saw the opportunity to create CAC.... Cheers, RickO
