Language unique to numismatics

It seems that the numismatic world has its own lingo that differentiates itself.

Have others seen "P.O.R." in other settings, that used to be common for rare coins in Coin World? Also phrases such as "all transactions kept in the strictest confidence" seems to foster confidence that unlike some deals, in coins and precious metals at least you don't have to worry about others knowing your business. How important is confidentiality in this business? Is a breach of confidentiality a deal killer? You assume confidentiality with accountants, lawyers and ministers.

No doubt there are many terms unique to numismatics... PMD, broadstrike etc. Confidentiality would be expected in the coin business IMO. Cheers, RickO

I've seen this for collectible watches.

Confidentiality is very important and I expect it of any dealer.

    Condition rarity? Condition census?
