The black spot on the obverse ? Is it on the coin or just a hot spot in the photo ?
Other than that very clean coin and well struck.
Grade ? Photo's are tuff and so are the grades given. (?)

I was leaning toward 65, but noticed the slight hit on the sun disk which would probably hold it to 64.
Regardless of the assigned grade, the mark on the sun wouldn’t limit the coin to a 64. And the scratch between the L and I in LIBERTY is much larger, anyway.

My first thought was 65 but 64 would not surprise me and would be a fair grade.

Tough images to grade from. That said, at first I was thinking 63, but yeah, I'm probably being to harsh. I think the 64's have it.

64 possibly 65. Nice coin.
It was one of 2 coins I got for my set. But I felt like it was over graded especially in an OGH! You guys confirmed it for me!![](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/editor/tt/w9bjng8gjzo8.jpeg)
Those vertical scratches on the Franklin proof must be on the holder.

I kind of figured that because if they weren't then it definitely wouldn't be a 67.

I had that coin in my watchlist.
It definitely caught my eye when i was searching on the bay.
That's how i knew it was a 65.
I looked it over many times, i felt like the others here that posted 64. I just couldn't pull the trigger.
It is a very nice coin, congrats on purchase.

It’s probably good you didn’t. It actually looks better in the pictures. The luster is really lacking now that I have it in hand.
Exceptional strike and luster carry it into the gem grade.
