Submission questions with images

I am preparing to submit some coins to PCGS.
I want to complete a set of 1921 PL coins.
This 1921D looks like a PL to me. I would like to know if you guys would agree.
The numerical grade is not as important to me as receiving the PL designation.
Here are a few images.
I have several other coins to ask about but we will take it slow.i will post more with questions about them.
Thank you.
Here are two 1921's.

Both look to be cleaned, and I think they would both grade details. I wouldn't spend the money to grade them, I don't think you'll get the result that your looking for.

I agree with Dan and cleaned or not, they don’t look PL to me.

look polished or cleaned - can you see a good reflection from fields 6" away?
This submission, four months from now, will lead to disappointment.

You would be best off buying coins already certified as PL. I'm not sure if there are any 1921 Peace that are prooflike but that would be costly.

You guys are great.
You have verified what I thought.
Appreciate it.

Okay so a little bit of a back story here.
I am somewhat using myself as an example. This isn't an excuse to avoid embarrassment.
This is to help new people like myself.
If you don't read through this to get the jiyst and post your missing the point.
I bought those off of ebay.
I received them and I knew right away they were not good.
The seller demanded that they were what he said they were. "I have been doing this for 20 years". "I am not refunding your money, you have no idea what your doing or talking about".
Honestly I felt intimidated. I do believe I have learned much and have a ways to go but I refuse to be pressured into keeping and item that is not acceptable.
After posting these I have been reassured that my thinking is right and I will now fight this seller and go through the process with ebay.
He is adamant, pissed and someone trying to be intimidating.
I want my money back and I am getting it.
I will no longer question what I have learned and feel pressured into keeping a coin because of inexperience.
There are 4 more coins involved but I have already proved my point to myself.
Images can be manipulated to improve a coins appearnece.
I hope that we can use this thread to help other down the line.
I have purchased many, many graded coins now. I don't post them here because it's not really why I buy them. At some point I will share my sets when they are just that, sets.
In the interim it's good to see we can help out one another.
Thanks guys.
@TomB why is that?
That is the old Johnny Carson skit where he played Carnac the Magnificent. He would hold an envelope up to the turban and give an answer to it before reading the envelope. Invariably, the reading of the envelope would complete the joke that the answer started.
Carnac sees pain in your future if you submit these in the hope of obtaining a PL designation since the first coin appears cleaned and polished while the second appears merely cleaned.
I have read your latest posts and if you are within the return period just return them and force the refund.

I have no choice but you do a forced return. I was even threatened. The issue with that is you just never know who your dealing with. In this case he made a big mistake. Ah oh.
Damn it ... I should stay out of this ... but your last comment rubs me wrong.
I think you should look in the mirror. He may be making a bad mistake (he is if he is refusing and/or threating you, he is), but your mistake in bidding and buying started the fiasco. Learn from that and he's just another fly on the wall you will never have to deal with.

If you want PL coins, it may behoove you to look at just how rare 21-D and 21-S are in PL. You can get a 21-D with enough looking, but 21-S is the rarest Morgan dollar in PL and unknown in DMPL.

Good luck with your return process. The seller sounds like a real dork... No justification for threats or other abusive talk. I hope you kept the communications to use in the process. Cheers, RickO
@Watchtower, unfortunately, this is yet, another thread about your purchase of ungraded coins with problems. By now, it should be clear that unless the seller is well known, the images, clear and the coins are professionally graded, it would be better not to make a purchase.
I know it’s your money, to do with as you please and you want to have fun. But based on numerous posts you’ve made, it doesn’t appear that you’re enjoying yourself.
