Hi all, as mentioned above we have made some great progress in restoring Collective Coin, but aren’t all the way there. I expect it to be resolved shortly. Thank you again for your patience.

Just checked. You are right. But the site is somewhat functioning. It should be a short step to getting it back.
If you find a coin of yours and click it, it goes to your page.
Glad to see it on the mend.
Never really cared for this site. A simple search yields no results. I think you need to be logged in to search, which is not intuitive. A number of display issues as well. Hope Stacks will improve it.
I'm noticing a couple of bugs as well, at least from the phone.
When adding photos, it's not letting me drag the image to change the order in which they appear.
It's also not letting me delete images.
And as mentioned, the search box yields zero results even if it's your own coins.
Well, at least the site is back up. It's a start!

I just logged in. Everything seems like it was. You have to select "My Coins" view to be able to drag for organizing.
Happy to have it back. It's what I primarily use for records.
That is after my own computer files. Which are constantly backed up with Carbonite.
Carbonite at one time during a severe computer problem, restored ALL my files. Just like they were.
I understand this is an old thread but does anyone know if CollectiveCoin is being put out to pasture? Seems to work on a basic level but the search function is completely broken (at least in the 2 browsers I tried). The site would be ideal for my needs (great balance between too much and too little) but I don't want to put much effort into uploading images to a site that no one is maintaining. (The Copyright on the site's footer is still 2015 which is a little depressing)
On that note, what are some alternatives to cataloging one's collection in the same vein as CollectiveCoin? (That is, the ability to share your images, view other collections, comment, etc) I also love the fact that you can browse or post coins for sale (even though it looks like people will upload the same item 50 times)

Mycollect and Collective Coin are not the same outfit/ownership/entity correct?
No. MyCollect is owned by Ian Russell.
Ok that is what I thought and assumed that you posted it as a possible alternative to Collective Coin, just checking in case I had missed an announcement.

I do not use this so can't confirm anything 'on the inside' but appears to be better initially.

Glad to hear it! Thanks for getting it running again and keeping us up to date!
Just logged on to Collective Coin. Works great! Thank you sir.
Nice to see this back up and running! I'm thinking about using this service again to manage the collection.
Thanks to the powers that be.

Collective Coin is the 2x2 of storage sites. I love it.

But not the stupid "For Sale" section with junk priced at $1,000
If I ran that place, those would disappear and the IP addy would be blocked.
I heard it was powdered sugar donuts you like…… 😂
