I call it 66 Red but will guess that it was labeled RB for some reason.

So what did they grade it?
Most people got it right or very close. PCGS graded it MS66RD. I bought this coin from a small coin shop in Carlsbad CA (the same shop @braddick posted about recently) in 2005 for $8. It was in a cardboard 2x2 but inside a Kointain plastic shell that protected its surface very well. Like @hbarbee said, I was hopeful it might get a 67 grade which is a huge jump in value according to the PCGS price guide.

You got lucky with that 66
Makes me think some of my 66s could go 67
Congrats
From what I have seen 1950s vintage Lincolns that get a 6 RD is when the color and eye appeal are superior and there are few small ticks on the device. The grade looks about right to me.

I’m not a CAC member. I tried to sign up last year but they already closed off adding new members. So all of my slabbed coins I bought before CAC existed as well as all the ones I submitted to PCGS over the years have never been to CAC.
I took about 5 years off of getting things slabbed because I had developed severe cataracts and couldn’t even see my coins. I didn’t keep up with what was going on in the industry and during that time is when CAC became really popular. Before that most people were iffy about the whole CAC thing. After cataract surgery I got back into the hobby and started my registry sets and found out about CAC but it was too late to become a member.
So now I don’t know of an easy way to even try and submit them.

Sounds familiar, I too procrastinated last year. I had all the paper work down sitting on my desk and totally forgot about it, then it stopped taking requests. O well, you snooze you lose........
