New purchase with character

FlatwoodsFlatwoods Posts: 4,122 ✭✭✭✭✭

I see these everywhere in red, uncirculated grades. Cool coins but I like some character.
This one is a brown circ with a touch of mint red left. It escaped into the wild for a while.
I like it.

Great example. I actually like these in BN more than RD. Thanks for sharing.

I like that a whole heck of a lot! The color gradient is especially smooth and attractive.

    Nice one @Flatwoods !

Going to guess that it's in an AU55 holder?

I think so. I rarely look at the holder.

@Flatwoods It looks every bit of AU58 to me! That's a great coin!

There are not that many brown 1972 DDO Lincolns around. That is a nice representation of the DDO, imhop.

Finally a beautiful brown Lincoln with no copper spots. Extremely nice example!

Lot to like about that one Flatwoods.
When it comes to RD designation on a Lincoln, the older the holder the more
I'm comfortable that it is stable.

Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
