How do you know if your account is "verified"?

The comments edit post (seen here https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1087963/pcgs-moderators-please-fix-the-edit-bug#latest ) has been locked stating the following.

"If your account has not been "verified" than you are not able to edit comments"

How do you verify your account or check that your account is in fact verified?

On your profile page under Roles it says Member if not it says Applicant.

So as a member, I am in fact verified....so why did support close the original thread as it doesn't apply at least to my situation. Additionally, based on several other posters, doesn't appear to be their situation either.... 🤷

There are definitely other causes, of what some members have referred to as a "glitch" or "bug". I've experienced it many times, myself. It's occurred most often, when I've quoted other posters within my posts and/or when I've made edits to my posts. After the other thread was closed, I sent a message to the PCGS moderator, making him aware of that.
